Jerry Allen's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Wrightsville Beach

A friend and I came here one night and from the get-go the bartender was not very friendly or welcoming. We ordered mediocre food and a couple drinks. Afterwards I stepped outside for a smoke break. We sat in two chairs that were outside that had been empty since our arrival. 1 minute after we sat down, a worker came up to us and said that those were his chairs and that we needed to get up so he could sit down. From a customer service point of view, I thought this was extremely rude to tell paying customers to get up from seats that were not designated to anyone at all. We then went inside to pay the bill and the bartender asked me what was wrong. I told him what happened and he sarcastically said "aw did that offend you?". Worst customer service ever and I would never in my life revisit this place. I would not recommend unless you would like to be treated like crap and served less than average...

Food is straight from the freezer.Garlic Parmesan Wings were covered in white dressing sauce? I politely said I would take them to go bc I didn’t expect a sauce to be poured over them and I ordered lemon pepper dry rub for myself. They didn’t take it off the bill. I was charged for both. My son’s Chicken fingers tasted like they were from Wendy’s- it’s good if you just want a beer but go elsewhere for decent bar food.One man asked for WiFi password and the bartender’s response was “I don’t know” . Also when I asked if they had a drink menu I was told “no”. They “don’t have anything fancy” ( I was wearing a baseball cap and jeans- clearly not a fancy person) I ordered a miller light. She never told me what was on tap or if there were happy hour specials....

The second star was literally only because the Reuben wasn't too bad. Waitress didn't even pay attention to us for most of the time - we had to flag down one of the cooks to handle a complaint (the drinks tasted like they had cleaning solution mixed in - very unpleasant). No solutions were offered. The only seating was under the HVAC piping, which spent the entire dinner dripping in various sections. The tator tots tasted like they had gone swimming in the ocean before going in the fryer - saltier than this review. We went there because of their half-price menu deal, but quite frankly the food wasn't...
