The location has a great curb appeal. We had a party of 7 on a Sunday night. Unfortunately, the location was understaffed and waited 20 minutes to be seated. I felt bad for the staff as they were spread so thin. Dana tried her best. We ordered the chicken fried steak, acorn chicken, teriyaki chicken pasta, Primavera and the Alfredo pasta. Unfortunately, all of the food came and was cold. My mashed potatoes were cold in the center. The teriyaki chicken was supposed to come with coconut and cherries and didn’t come that way. The food was not very good. The staff was very overwhelmed. It was a little disappointing, we would’ve thought that they would’ve stopped it properly with it being spring break and a weekend with the snow still on the mountains. The vegetables were delicious but unfortunately or ice cold we didn’t get any dessert. We are kind of afraid after the quality of the food the location is really cute and the swings outside were really convenient for the kids. The shop in the front has lots of really cute little items and trinkets, unfortunately you can’t use Apple Pay for the stuff in the store but you can pay for your dinner with Apple Pay, which totally doesn’t make sense. We were going to purchase some thing from the store but considering we couldn’t use Apple Pay we didn’t purchase anything we spent over $100 on dinner and were extremely disappointed at the quality of the food. Kristin was extremely helpful and helping to assist Deenna to make things right with our dinner, I think her name is Danny not Dena I’m not sure that I would recommend everything on the menu. The acorn chicken did come hot and it was pretty tasty and the vegetables were good. The blue cheese dressing had no flavor and would not recommend that the pasta Primavera was very pretty, but was not very tasty. Most of the food was lacking salt and pepper. You could tell that the staff was very overwhelmed and must’ve only been about one or two people in the kitchen the amount of food that was coming out and the complaints was really out of control again I feel really bad for the staff. Upper management should’ve made sure that they were adequately staffed for a weekend where it’s spring break and snow still on the mountains with people coming to visit 10 out of 10 would not recommend. Shocking the grizzly burger was...
Read moreVery sad the way we were treated. It ruined our whole day. We been here many times and it just hurt our hearts to know we are never coming back. First when we walked in we said party of 8 and they gave us a look like we were not welcome. They told us it was going to take 45 min to an hour to be seated. We said we could wait since we drove 2 hours and bring a new family/friends to try them out. We did waited for an hour, when we finally got a table. We felt rushed, the server seemed like she wanted to get rid of us. The server bring our toast to the table and after 10 minutes of our toast sitting on our table getting cold she comes and tell us "oh sorry, your order never sent to the kitchen" so we started eating our toast and sharing it with our desperate kids , Everytime the kitchen door opened we saw server's coming out with other peoples food that got there way after us. After 15 min our food was ready our server bring extra toast since we had to share the first toast with everyone because we were starving. We asked for extra ketchup and more coffee and she took forever even though we could see her chatting and laughing with the people on the highchair/Bar area. I felt very embarrassed with our friends for the whole thing. We were half way with our food and she drop off the bill saying "tip has been included already Thank you and sorry your food took so long". Would've be nice if the owner or manager would've said "hey here is a 10% OFF for the whole inconvenience" or " we removed the coffees from the order" something that would've makes us feel like "we care for your business" I know we are humans and we make mistakes but The whole vibe make us feel like we were an inconvenience. I'm not a problem person and I hate complaining with servers and Managers I just couldn't wait to get out of there. when we got in my car I started crying I felt so embarrassed with our Friends. Sadly, our tradition to stoping at your restaurant Everytime we go to Wrightwood has ended. I recommend everyone with a party higher then 4 to not stop here give your business and valuable money and time to...
Read moreI was greeted with a frown and was rudely cut off by Amanda. She then directed me to a hard bench to sit and wait for our table. I sat at a bar stool that was padded instead she told me to move to the hardwood bench when she noticed that I was upset she said that I wouldn't be able to order from the bar and get a table. -1🌟 star. We were seated by Sam with a smile on her face and a great attitude. We ordered drinks and they were promptly brought to us by Sam with a smile. Sam took our order with the smile and was very nice the food arrived quickly. The food is excellent burgers are awesome sweet potato fries and onion rings were crunchy and yummy. Went to go pay the check and Amanda cut me off while I was speaking to another customer. -1🌟star it seemed that Amanda was frustrated and could not handle multitasking the place wasn't really that crowded it was a Wednesday and there were skiers their due to the snow for mountain High Ski Resort. Amanda if you read this some people shouldn't be servers find another job. Sam if you read this you're an excellent server you should look for a more upscale place so you can make more money you're the bomb. All in all I would go back hoping that Amanda would be greeting me. To her defense there was a sign on the wall that said grumpy grizzly...
