I need to go back to try more!
This place is obviously meant for the wine drinker - they have a huge selection! Or for a place to drink coffee. My family does neither but still like it here! Very friendly and helpful staff!
Their pastries are very yummy! The apple fritter was nice and warm. I will come back for the spinach and cheese. And I loved the chocolate chip pastry!
My kids and I keep coming back for the Strawberry and Banana Smoothie - it's expensive though for one cup ($7), so I ask the employees to split 2 drinks into 4 cups for my toddlers. Probably for the best anyone for little kids - the full cup (16oz) would be too big for them to finish anyway. If they ever have more smoothie options though... NOTHING is going to stop us from trying all of them! Smoothies are a great way for the kids to get full from something delicious and refreshed from something cold, without it being something that can ruin their lunch (like ice cream).
P.s. word to the wise about the bathroom: there is only 1 bathroom stall; and you have to ask for the...
Read moreI didn’t think I would have to write a bad review about this place, since it was always one of my favorites in town, but here goes. This morning, at around 7:30 am, my 19 month old and I went to the village grind to grab some sandwiches for breakfast to spend some time together before I head to work. Here comes an brunette employee, with her two kids, who I assume was starting her shift, but ended up grabbing the bacon, for my order, to feed her kids so they can hurry up and go to school. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order and was almost late to work because she had to feed her kids my food that I PAID FOR. Felt like she intentionally knew it was for someone and thought about her kids first since they were LATE, and didn’t care about the...
Read moreI visited this place today, June 2020, and thought it would be ok as I was wearing my mask and so was my SO. There was a sign on the door that said "COVID-19 Compliant". This sign was a lie. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer by the door and the barista was wearing a mask but improperly as her nose was completely out. She wore no gloves. While we were giving our order we were interrupted by a man standing behind me who told her his order and walked out. He wasn't wearing a mask. The woman explained that there were food orders ahead of our drinks, which was totally fine, we understand it's busy. However, the man who interrupted us got his drink first. The outside of the place smelled awful, like septic. The experience left me feeling disgusted. I will not...
