It is a wonderful place to enjoy Italian cuisine. Food is top quality. We haven’t been for a while and last night we had the chance to enjoy Aldo’s. 5 stars for the food, atmosphere for sure, only one complaint and that is for our waitress who is Aldo‘s sister we only knew that because we sat in the middle of two other tables and she converse with both tables she gave them a small bottle of either champagne or wine for the 40th anniversary of Aldo‘s, she was very cool to us never asked how the food was, she took our order another man delivered it. She never came back in between to ask us of how everything was, but went from each table on the side of us, and had long conversations and actually had a nice long drink with one of the tables. I can only say if I was a first time customer, I probably would not go back because of her. She was very rude and very cold to us kind of shunned us we felt out of place and and didn’t belong there, we feel she is very bad for business.. She was explaining to them how they was going to be a small celebration this weekend for Aldo’s 40th anniversary of the restaurant, I don’t know if it was Friday Saturday not sure and to come by and have a glass of wine to the other tables but not to us not that we needed to have a glass of wine on the house, but just the point of how we were treated and I feel bad for that and Aldo. At the end when we had to pay our bill, she kind of just put it on the end of our table, she came back to collect & returned it the same way just dropping it at the table as she walked by. Thank God, the food is wonderful because someone like her would stop us from coming back to the restaurant nothings worse than having a waiter or waitress with an attitude and ruining your night after spending so much money. Thank you Aldo for all your perfection an amazing food...

On Friday, December 1,2017 my brothers and I decided to host a small (13 People) 70th birthday dinner for my mom. I heard so many great things about Aldos restaurant and pass it every day going yo and from work. I decided to book my mom's 70th dinner there. I have to say it is a beautiful place but the service is extremely slow, the server didn't get my order right at all. I asked first if there was any peas in the Penne Vodka and he said no so I asked for Penne Vodka with Shrimp and Mushrooms. When the dinner finally came (way late) he brought Penne Vodka with Shrimp and Peas. I hate peas. So instead of saying anything I picked what peas I could out and just ate it cause I wasn't about to wait another hour for my food. Than my son's Chicken Fingers had hair in it, so instead they were kind enough to bring him a pizza (even though I was made sure to be told 2x that they never bring Pizza into the main dining area). I was a bit offended, you are talking about a party of 13 with 3 small children so yes, you brought my 11 year old son chicken fingers with hair on it and now that he is disgusted, you will bring him Pizza so don't tell me to make me feel like you are doing me a favor. A lot of the food was extremely salty, but some of the guests didn't mind it cause they like salt but some didn't eat it. Needless to say I barely touched my food and decided to bring it home and ended up in the trash. Going forward all I can say is we tried a new place, were we Happy? Yes and No, the atmosphere and some of the food was good, the service was way slow. So if you book your reservations for 730 and don't get home till about 1130 than...

The atmosphere is great! Very packed when we went on a Saturday night around 7. It got extremely busy and after we ordered our appetizer &!drinks… we received our three kinds of bread… 2 large dinner rolls, warmed, no butter (we had to ask for it) bread was cold by the time we got it! The cheesy bread & bruschetta was delicious! We ordered an appetizer, which was amazing, a special with Baratta, tomato, roasted red peppers, prosciutto ,, arugula with a balsamic vinaigrette drizzle was amazing!! I spilled my drink, no one assisted me cleaning it up even though I moved my seat.. I finally asked another waiter to get our waitress. She came over & even though we were already finished with our appetizer she never took of dinner order. They did get extremely busy but even when she dropped the appetizer off, she didn’t ask if we were ready to order. I ordered chicken Margarita & my BF ordered Chicken Fioretine & we each ordered the pasta as a side. My chicken had no tastes so I switched with my BF.. his was delicious!!! The sauce in the side of pasta tasted as if it was right out of a can of tomatoes paste! Terrible!! We the. Ordered a Tiramisu to go.. later on that night we opened it & it was some kind of cinnamon whipped cream dessert! So...

The food and service are impeccable! If there were 10 stars, they'd deserve every one of them! The chef is a master at his/her trade. The seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection. You'll never get a piece of dried out swordfish here! It's always moist and never fishy. The calamari is the best I've had anywhere. Piping hot and crispy on the outside, sweet and tender on the inside...and not a drop of grease. The pork chops and veal chops are huge, tender and to die for. And don't forget the pasta...light and cooked properly. I recommend the lobster ravioli. Make sure you leave room for desert! Always a great meal...you won't be disappointed! Enjoy!

I have been a customer of both the Brick House and Aldo’s in Wykoff. Aldo’s is a great restaurant. Same with the Brick House. The service, atmosphere and food is excellent all the time. The restaurant staff go the extra mile to ensure guests are always satisfied. Aldo is truly a class act. Not many owners go out of their way to interact with the customers. Great guy!
