Seeing 2 Star on Yelp, my son was not inclined to go there. Still we went there for a ToGo order. (1) Big John and (1) Turkey Tom, came home (6 miles away) to find that we were given (2) Turkey Toms. Called and asked for the Manager on duty and the gentleman hung up (I heard the sound of handset being placed back on the phone set), called again and the same happened again. Called the 3rd time and I was told that they can't hear us and having problem with the phone. I asked him for his name and he said "Karen". I told him that either he can get me the manager or I drive 6 miles to speak to the manager. He said, how can I help you? I asked for the manager and he said he is one of them. I asked him for the highest authority at the time, and he got another gentleman. I explained him my concern, and he said that other gentleman didn't hang up, they are having phone issues, and as to the food, "mistakes happen and I can void the order". I excused myself from that phone call.
I would say that these employees are doing it wrong to the franchisee, who invested so much money into this business. But on another thought, this franchisee mush read the reviews online, Google and Yelp and still no desire to fix anything. I guess they have a perfect team of employees and franchisee to earn a terrible name for the brand, Jimmy John's".

The food is universally the same at all of their locations and I would say is neither the best sub or worst sub I’ve ever had. That said the one closest to home is the worst. I actually went to pull up my previous review to show how the years change but not Jimmy John’s Wylie! I don’t ask for much and don’t modify my sandwiches from how it comes off the menu. The only $&@$ing thing I ask is that it’s cut in half. Can we PLEASE get this location a knife?!? On top of that I called to ask about missing items from my order and was told they were out of the seasonal items. That’s totally understandable and I would have thought they’d just deduct those items off and that would be all. But sigh, “I was compensated” with what I’m unsure of as there wasn’t anything extra in the bag but my price stayed the same. Yes it’s only a few bucks for a cookie and some seasonal chips but it would have kept me from making a post about it. The sadist part is reading the reviews about this location and realizing that I was warned....

Because I really love their food, I have overlooked a lot of issues in the past, but after tonight, I'm done making excuses for this location. I successfully placed my online order and my account was charged for the order. When I never received the notification that my order was out for delivery, I called the store and didn't get an answer. They never answered the phone. Did they close early? Were they in the store but not answering the phone? No way to tell and no way to leave a message about my issue. When I think about the other problems I've encountered with this store over the last month that I chose to overlook, such as constantly closing early and poor quality food, I'm left scratching my head why a business with such a great brand wouldn't try to solve their problems and improve customer service.
