NOTE: menu pricing has changed so I uploaded the updated menu! The staff here are super friendly! Although we opted to dine in, you will need to order at the counter. The sushi was ready in about 10 minutes or so after ordering! They were super fast despite having a handful of take out orders to fulfill as well. The food was good! We ordered 2 rolls, and a bento box to share, which was plenty for the both of us. Our bill came out to be $50, which was a deal for all the sushi we got! The bento box came with 4 pieces of California roll, and we specifically asked for salmon sushi, which was an extra $2. The house salad was fine, wasn’t particularly a fan, since it was just chopped lettuce and a few strands of carrot and cabbage. Wish it had the traditional ginger salad dressing they usually serve at other Japanese restaurants! The miso soup that came with the bento box was really good (extra salty just how I like it). The fried gyozas, shrimp tempura, California rolls, and salmon sushi that came with the Bento Box were really tasty. The star of the show would be the special rolls! The sushi rolls were very generous in size. We ordered the Lion King roll and the Bikini roll. Both rolls were really good and we’d definitely order them again!

Perhaps a go-to place for to-go sushi. The preparation exceeds that of its peers in the general area without over saturated menu choices. Definitely better than the preparations at buffet joints where sushi is simply a checklist item. The tempura batter and frying oil were different from general expectations but certainly no complaints for either ingredient. The udon soup was a pleasant surprise owing to the use of fresh ingredients rather than pre-packaged mix - a tell-tale sign that management values culinary enjoyment by patrons. It may be a bit too much to expect detailed ingredients list for each item but having allergy alerts (nuts, sesame seed, gluten, etc.) would go a long way in setting a higher level of service. Not disappointed at all when craving for slightly above average sushi.

We got our food to-go and it was great! I’m giving this place 5 stars because it was really good, the prices are great, BUT! there was a hair in one of our rolls (pictured). Honestly everything else was amazing. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the sushi was just as good as I’ve had at Zenna or other more expensive places. I understand that things happen in a kitchen sometimes, and we’re not germaphobes so it didn’t ruin our meal. But come on, hair nets, guys! But OVERALL I’m so glad this place opened so close to home and it’s SO good and I still highly recommend this place if you want some sushi in this area.

I've spent a TON of money getting sushi here. Have always loved it never a complaint in the world about this place. In fact this WAS my favorite sushi spot. However tonight I called in an order to go. When the girl who answered the phone kinda laughed and said "We don't take orders after 9:15" well guess what it was literally 9:16... I was less than a block away asked to speak to a manager hoping that maybe just maybe this guy would say "oh no problem we'll take care of you" but that didn't happen. In fact we stayed on the phone arguing for the next 3min in which was plenty of time to have made a couple of rolls I wanted. If you stop taking orders at 9:15 why would you have business hours posted you're open until 9:30??? Well it's safe to say I will never in my life spend another penny in this place. I will drive clear across Dallas before I EVER spend another cent...
