First of all, I had to drive to the establishment, because after 7 calls that I placed, I received a busy signal. That was the first red flag. But, I decided to go in person despite this. I went in today, as a new customer excited to have a custom cake made for my childās birthday. I waited patiently while one of the owners, the man, had a LENGTHY conversation with a customer about everything, including hair. After the customer left, I was the only customer there. Neither owner spoke or welcomed me in to the establishment. The male owner placed a flavor list on a counter in front of me, and stated, āhere is the flavor listā, and walked away. There were multiple opportunities to say something to me. But, it didnāt happen. It was awkward considering i was the only customer there. I felt ignored. I provided the following feedback to a representative to give to the owners that when a customer comes in, especially if itās the only one and itās not busy, at least speak to acknowledge the customer. Just in case this feedback wasnāt communicated to the owners, Iām communicating it here. There is a review of this location that is eerily similar to mines that from the same race. From the looks of it, the owners only speak/talk to customers of a certain color.
If Iām treated as if Iām invisible and unwelcome, guess what, my business and money will be too.
I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again and neither will my friends, family, huge social media following, nor my company. Well, Iām off to spread the word about my experience.

They can make pretty much any design and the cakes are good but the customer service is abysmal. Over the years we have paid deposits for the cakes when ordered and paid the balance when picking up. Last week, on Friday, I ordered a cake to be ready the next Sunday (a full 8 days). I was told to call back on Monday to pay the deposit over the phone. The bakery is closed on Mondays - you would think an employee taking an order would know that. I end up calling first thing on Tuesday morning only to be told by the extremely rude owner that they don't take deposits on the cakes and also they are booked so no order can be taken. I have done this so many times so I know for fact that they take deposits. At any rate, she said they were booked and wouldn't take the order. This was for my niece's graduation taking place that weekend. Thankfully, we were able to find a bakery that not only created the cake we wanted but it was delicious and done so in a couple days. We won't ever return to this bakery and will deter anyone we know looking to use them. To the bakery - go look up Customer Service...it's in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to think that this place was the go to place but when it comes down to making sure their customers are taken care of they completely drop the ball. We have ordered multiple items from here in the past and both times that we have ordered cakes they both have shifted by the time they got the the destination. The first time it was for our wedding that was delivered by y'all and the most recent time was my daughters 1st birthday over the weekend that my wife brought home. Just the same I spoke to Trey 6/19 as there was no one to help me Saturday or Sunday and as a manager he is not very capable of conflict resolution and definitely forgot that he is in a customer service business. I am truly glad that the Kroger bakery in Rockwall could help us out on such a short notice to still get a unicorn smash cake for my daughters birthday party.
Here you'll see our wedding cake at an obvious tilt. This was the one they delivered. We honestly thought it had to be a fluke. And then the unicorn smash cake that completely separated from the bottom inch of cake and melted down into itself during the 32 minute drive home on a flat surface with AC blasting on the coldest setting. But as Trey says, both of these are clearly our (the customers') fault....
