Beware using Sonic App!!!
Preface to say, I have experienced issues using the Sonic app before and overlooked, but this was the last straw. 21:10 Pulled up to Sonic in Wylie, TX off of Williams, while placing order using the Sonic app. 21:11 Received email receipt. App said pick up by 21:19 21:17 App would not let us check in, used button to tell them we were there patiently wait 21:41 Confused about order then claimed it is about ready, but has not been brought out yet. 21:46 Order disappeared from the front of app and appears to have been delivered, but still no food. 21:47 Given indication that orders are not started until the person arrives. But we WERE here. On app, we used ASAP. AND the app said to pick up by 21:19!!!! 21:53 Claims it was given to someone else. Remaking. 2200 Closing time 2206 Received our meal! No drink carrier. Got home...no napkins. Missing an order of tots.

A free drink and tots? I was missing tots to begin with. So just a free drink..if I make an app purchase?...
Read moreFeels like Sonic is getting back to normal. Covid caused so many shortages for this company that would prevent them from having so many nessesary items to make your favorite things they had to tell their customers that they were out of simplest things. Such as peanut butter which angered everyone. Thinking heck they have it at the grocery store. But as with all large corporations they have strict policies and ingrediants that were developed just for them. It is why everything has its own unique taste we can not replicate at home. Be that as it may I remind everyone to think of these things as not to be unkind or give up on any business at this time that may still be struggling. Although it seems as they have been able to serve a full menu I believe we have not passed those issues yet. In the next coming weeks we will be experienceing even more delimmas. Gas will rise very high which will put cost of everything we need or do to increase exponetially. So lets try to remember the cause of this and try and not take our frustation on one another. This is the price we will pay to be the great County We Are. And Time will change everything if we believe. So for Sonic. Kuddo's to You! Way to...

I do not appreciate him making the decision to tip himself. Its the point of the matter; none of them should be deciding to keep any portion of our cash back. If we want to tip we will, I personally don't eat there because of that happening in the past. The rest of my family still eats there and my grandson wanted to go there tonight so I took him and actually the young man stole from my grandson not me because it was my grandsons money. How you feel taking a child's money ?
I called just now and lodged my complaint with the manager James and he was very apologetic and went out of his way to earn my trust back about what happened and has handled the situation adequately which saved Sonic from losing future business from our family of 10 that eats there alot every month. Thank you Mr. James for making this right; if it was my money I wouldn't of cared a much but this was my 11 year old grandsons money that he worked his butt off mowing today to have to go...
