Today about 4:20pm My husband goes to this McDonaldâs location every day before he goes to work to buy two McChicken. He gave them a $50 dollar bill and they only gave him seven dollars and change back. My husband, The, customer stated to the cash register Handling the money that he only gave them a $10 bill and denied him and told him he gave them a $10 bill. My husband called me and I called the McDonaldâs location and explained that The incident they told me that they checked the register and that it was not Overdrawn. The employee knows him very well that he comes in every single day as his routine to just buy those two McChickenâs sandwiches. He stated that he gave a $50 dollar bill and there was two managers there that said they saw The customer giving only $10. I ended up calling the place and told him I hope youâre being honest and You can check your register and see if itâs overdrawn but we all know that they do have cameras right by that register and he went back and told them please rolled your camera up and see and there it was showing that the customer did give a $50 dollars bill on the camera. The McDonaldâs only apologized and he went to work feeling horrible. It is so sad how this world has become and the service that people receive today and making you feel like youâre the stupid person. I understand that there are dishonest people that do things like, But this is a customer who has a regular routine that goes to this Location every day and this is how you treat your customers today in Michigan of Grand Rapids. How sad is that? They donât deserve not even one star that person needs to be fired. The stress that they put on a customer going to work and saying I know I gave them $50. They just finished ripping me off. I cannot believe that I told him to go back and tell them to look at the cameras and thatâs exactly what he did. It makes No sense and makes people, anyone very, very angry and when they respond, angry Towards the employee at the cash register. They End up making the customer feeling Terrible. This is a Black man a Native American man and this is how...
Read moreThis is the second or third time I have visited this McDonaldâs and they have closed substantially early to what the website says. Their hours online say their drive-through is open until 12:30 am. Today I went to the drive through at about 10:45 PM, a decent amount of time before they close and hoped for ONCE this location can do the bare minimum and be open for the amount of time they are supposed to. When I went to the McDonaldâs I saw two workers in the store and felt the tiniest bit of faith that they might actually take my order. I head to the drive through and have to wait at the speaker for about 2-3 minutes before a voice says âsorry for the inconvenience we are closed.â It is one thing to be closed and I honestly really donât mind it. Iâve worked food service previously and understand that food can run out or no oneâs coming and itâs just better to close. But what bothered me and caused me to leave this review is that when I replied to the employee who said they were closed with a genuine question of âwhat are the hours on weekdays? Because online it says you are open until 12:30 am,â I was met with radio silence, so she had either chose to ignore me or already turned off her mic right away. I saw this as incredibly rude and unprofessional. This location either needs to fix the hours stated online or get it together, because it is BY FAR the worst service Iâve received from a establishment in my life (if you can even consider it...
   Read moreExtremely poor service here.
We got some food through the drive through and our large drinks had an insane amount of ice in them. Completely filled to the brim with very little room for any drink. We ate our food, drank our drinks and wanted to get a refill before heading out. So I went inside for a refill, they removed the option to refill your own drinks. Ok, sure. I go ask the people up front for a refill for the drinks and mentioned how much ice was in them. The response was that they are not allowed to take the cups to provide refills due to contamination or whatever, I assume itâs covid related (still đ). Or itâs just an extremely weak excuse from the owner to get as much money out of his customers as possible. The only option for a refill was to purchase a new drink. Absolutely absurd. How greedy is McDonaldâs now to where they have to charge for refills. It would be one thing if there was a normal amount of ice in the cup, but this is very clearly done on purpose to give as little drink as possible. I got into it a little with the worker but ultimately didnât want to complain too much as itâs not their fault the store owner has things setup the way they do.
Overall a very poor experience. I understand itâs McDonaldâs but for real, cmon. Tired of having to give McDonaldâs a pass because they are McDonaldâs. Wish they actually gave a sh!t and werenât so big to where they could just do whatever...
