Russo's Pizza — Restaurant in Wyoming

Tonight was the first and likely last time I will eat at Russo's. I ordered a Stromboli takeout to enjoy while watching the Michigan game. Ordering on the phone and the customer service inside the store was fine so no issues with that.

Unfortunately the food itself left me underwhelmed. Despite being the only ticket on the board and having about five people working my stromboli was overcooked (burnt taste). I believe the lady may have realized this because she added extra parmesan to the top in what I expect to be an attempt to hide it. It also seems to me that they use too much sauce and/or not enough cheese in the stromboli as when attempting to cut through it all of the ingredients spill out. This might also be the reason they didn't cut it in house. The sauce itself is sweeter than I would like, but that's a personal preference.

The man sweeping the floor told me "trust me after eating this you will be asleep 5 minutes later" like that was a good thing, which was just a bit odd take.

My wholesome recommendation would be to reduce the sauce, add some more cheese inside and reduce the cooking time and you would have a better product.

It seems we had the same problem as the last review a month ago! THEY ARE OVERCHARGING PEOPLE!!

The prices listed on the menu directly from their website are incorrect. We ordered from there a few days ago and when delivery came our bill was $6 more than what it should have been per their website menu. The driver gave us a paper menu with prices higher than listed on website. Our food was also wrong. 2 of the dinners we ordered had items either added or missing that should not have been. Burritos were burnt to the bottom of container. When we called to inform we were told by the worker on the phone per the owner “Mike Russo” they could refund us and come take back food, that we could come pick up the $5 difference or they could put it on the books for us there. Barely even got a sorry for overcharging or food not being what we ordered/paid for. You can keep the $5 and next time we will take our business and restaurant recommendations or lack of for that matter elsewhere. I am speechless.. my husband been trying to find a good meatball sub and this place made it!! It was how an meatball suppose to taste!! He ate every bite without saying a word quick. That tells you right there. I had a steak and cheese sub it was so good I didn't get a pic. (But also because I eat subs from the inside out) it had onion, peppers and mushrooms. So flipping good. The gentlenab who I spoke to had asked if I wanted that or if I wanted mayo on it. So those are options if you want them. We also got some fries. They serve you FRIES. My husband and I were only able to eat a quarter of it with all of our sub which were a 6inch.. When you walk in they have drinks and some chips or Nutella cookie things they also sell some Italian things on the side. ie anchovies, olives, peppers. This place is worth it!!!!
