I was looking for a Latin American restaurant to take my Spanish students to as part of a field trip, and Yureika's was just the right place. Before our field trip, I had lunch there and interacted with the staff and met with Yureika to discuss my vision for lunch. She worked with me and our price range and even created a special, modified version of her menu that I could share with my students in advance.

The environment is lively and fun, and of course, the food is great. I've tried the carne asada, which is one of my new favorites, as well as the pastelitos, tacos dorados, and plátanos fritos. I would recommend each one. To accompany each meal, I also had the horchata and jamaica. If you're familiar with Mexican horchata, it's important to note that Honduran horchata is different and contains peanuts, so if you're allergic, I'd order jamaica or a bottle of Jarritos instead.

Yureika and her staff are professional, friendly, hardworking, and creative. They made us all feel right at home. I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place for individuals, families, school groups, and...

My husband ordered the typical breakfast which they gave him something different than what the menu said. When we complained about what was correct, the person who cooked the food made fun of us and made a mocking comment towards us saying that he was Venezuelan, not Honduran, so he didn't know. From there, the owner of the restaurant came to our table with a bad attitude saying that the dish is like that because she made the menu, so she knows how it goes... We ended up paying for a mistake that was clearly theirs... Our waitress was apparently the owner, who has a bad attitude for customer service. And to finish, the meat for my baleada and my husband's breakfast, I think it was old meat, it was very tough and dry, you could barely chew it. And you should be prepared for one meal to arrive earlier and the other half of the rest of the people's food to arrive 10-15...

This place is incredible. If you don’t live nearby, you should definitely make a point to go out of your way to come and give it a try! some of the best Latin cuisine I’ve had in the West Michigan area. The space is clean, colorful and open with incredible traditional salsa, music playing in the background. The staff is friendly and responsive and constantly keeping busy one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever seen! If you’re into homemade Latin cuisine, you should come directly here and enjoy yourself. Prices are more than fair. Also, one of the best things for me was they were flexible with their menu and made me a totally keto friendly plate! Way to go Yuri Staff !!! I am full, my soul is happy, and I will...

This was a fun lunch experience. I stopped by to try Honduran food for the first time, and I ended up getting the baleada special and a tamarindo. The drink was deliciously sweet and sour, and the baleada was rich and filling. The baleada was filled with avocado, eggs, beef, sour creams, and beans, and it was even better than the ingredients would suggest. It wasn’t messy, and made for an excellent meal. The staff was friendly and unobtrusive, and the place was comfortable with a tropical and bright feel. I’ll definitely be back with my friends and I’d recommend this place to anyone interested in Honduran, Panamanian, or Mexican food.

Spotted this place passing by, stopped in and was very impressed with the food. Staff were quick and friendly, prices are varied, but not horrible. The baleadas were great, so glad I found this place and was able to enjoy this typical Honduran food that I really enjoy. With a semi open kitchen I watched them press and cook the tortilla and add the fillings so you cant get much fresher than that. They were so good I forgot to take a picture. I also enjoyed some plantano fritos, they were cooked fresh also. Over all the only thing missing was a Tropical banana and youd feel like you were in Honduras.
