I would shop here quite often before I moved closer to Lebanon . I give the cashiers five stars for customer service and professionalism considering the conditions the company puts them through . the managers that I’ve encountered on the other hand I can’t say the same. one named Darlyne or however you spell it constantly tries to speak to the cashiers about task to do as they are cashing out a customer which I find incredibly rude it can wait till the transaction is over cause as a customer that makes me feel overwhelmed so I can only imagine how the cashier feels especially when they are constantly understaffing them. Second the male manager I dont remember his name but I’m fairly certain its the store manager he seems to be rude to his employees and unconcerned for their safety and only care about the credit cards for the store and as a customer I shouldn’t be aware of this so the managers need to do a better job at keeping these kinds of conversations away from customers. I went in to return a brand new suitcase that was never used and literally had all the tags and stickers on it on Tuesday July 16th, and the old lady who was doing the return up at the counter was extremely rude to the point where it was racially motivated. She first asked me aggressively if the suitcase was used and why I was returning it, I guess she assumed that a person like me would just walk right in to return a suitcase that’s been through hell and back without any shame, to which I responded with no (obviously). As soon as I walked over, I placed a bottle of soda on the counter and showed her the suitcase. Later on during the transaction she got all angry and had an attitude with me because she already put the return through but realized I was buying a drink… it is not that serious at all, the drink was there from the beginning and it is completely her fault for not noticing it! Every time me and my mom enter this TJ maxx we both have a jewelry addiction and try not buy the adorable pieces they have. But we end up leaving with at least one or two pieces. The main reason though I will say is the sales woman behind the counter. Her name is Johanne and she is as sweet as can be. She has such great energy and amazing social skills. She always has beautiful jewelry, dresses nice and great stories, she understands social cues as well. Like if I’m hesitant to buy a piece she will say well just go shop and think about it and I’ll be right here. Taking the pressure off and her great energy always has me leaving with a great piece.
