Backstory my mother lives in Greensboro and we are traveling back-and-forth to get her house cleaned out. She has been put in a nursing home. The truck we had to use had barely any heat. If it all. Although the appearance of the restaurant looked great, trying to eat inside of a restaurant that feels like a freezer is not my idea of an enjoyable meal. Normally, my son can handle cooler temperatures, but for him to have to wear his coat just to be able to stay in there and eat? Speaks volumes. My husband who takes blood thinners because he had a heart attack could not wait to get out of there because he was freezing to death. And to be honest, I couldn’t tell a bit of difference between our cold truck and your restaurant. At least I had blankets in the truck. The poor employees working there you could tell were doing what they could to stay warm. I asked them about the fridge temperatures in that store and we were told that the air-conditioning gets cut on later in the day. But it does start out warm in the mornings. We asked her if she could do something about it and she said no it’s controlled from corporate. Let me just say this I am tired of corporations, making decisions about their stores without input from their employees. They’re the ones in the stores doing the grunt work. They’re the ones taking complaints from customers and having to deal with people being mad because of decisions made on a corporate level. They’re basically a punching bag. They’re the ones that get hit with all the complaints and abuse by poor choices not made by them. Just like the person that gets to read, this is the one left dealing with it even though they had nothing to do with any of this. Bottom line what I see is you don’t care about your employees or your customers. Most corporations don’t anymore they only care about cutting corners and making money. Unfortunately the ones on the bottom of this food chain and customers are the ones that suffer. It’s easy to make decisions when you’re in a climate controlled office or atmosphere. The other businesses around, you guys had customers. Your store empty, except for us, and two other people, and one of them took their food to eat in their car because he himself is a heart patient and he said he cannot handle being in there. And that’s sad. He shouldn’t have to eat in his car because the restaurant he’s giving money to is too cold to eat inside of. I will give your employees props. Allison Wilkinson went above and beyond. Apologized even though it’s not her fault. And never once did they trash you guys for your poor decisions. Honestly, can’t say that we weren’t. Your customers that is. They were very professional about it, And myself have worked with the public in one way, shape or form since I was 17. 38 years. Mainly retail. But I’ve also worked, fast food, restaurants and even hotel hospitality. Different positions. And for someone that has been on both sides of the spectrum this is unacceptable. And please don’t use the excuse She doesn’t understand what the events of the last four years have caused because believe me, I do. I’ve seen and heard a lot more than any of you did during the lockdown. I have felt the effects just like everyone else.I work for a retail pharmacy. Trust me, we feel the effects. All I know is I’m tired of hearing excuses. A lot of us are. Start taking care of your employees. Start taking care of your customers. Stop making the ones that keep money coming into your bank account suffer while you don’t. You wanted to hear what I had to say and it may have been a lot but I said it. Make changes or there’s gonna be more closings and more people out of work that can’t afford to be. And I would appreciate instead of going to Customer Service and stopping here send it up higher on the food chain . Don’t let it stop here. And please don’t send it back to the store that we were at because again what can they do? Unfortunately, we won’t be...
Read moreI placed an online order a month back , my order wasn’t correct. The manager Venitra stated they didn’t offer the double gravy biscuit in store from the app. Which we have ordered that many times before. I went in a few later to dine in and the staff stated that was incorrect as well , and even showed me the button on the register for it. We placed an online order again for the same order - this time I was missing food , we called back in & they stated they would write our name down & when we came back in just let them know and they would replace our meal. Today we went in , and was told they ran of out biscuits so they weren’t offering breakfast- which It was around 11:30am , breakfast doesn’t end until 12. While we were there we asked for a refund for our previous order , that’s when the manager Venitra refused a refund , got loud and disrespectful. She stated it was a 3rd party issue - but it was in fact the employee’s fault who forgot to put out food in the bag. Venitra got smart about providing her name when we stated we would call corporate. She also continued to get loud and talk negative as we were leaving. She is VERY unprofessional and clearly can’t manage a team if she tells us one thing and her employees...
Read moreMy husband came into the store to place an order. When he got back to the car we opened the biscuits up and didn’t get what we order nor was the quality of food I had expected. The eggs in one sandwich was overcooked in black grease and hard around the edges. The other biscuit the egg looked like the egg yellow droppings from the other biscuit and was put in the biscuit the size of a 50 cent piece. My husband and I took the food back into Hardee’s and showed it to the cashier as I was asking the cashier who cooked this? The assistant manager walked over to me and said “I cooked it! I looked at her and said I would not have served that to anyone. the assistant manager looked at me and said “well I can’t help the way it comes out of the egg in a smart mouth tone. Then I told her we want our money back. She asked for a receipt and my husband said he wasn’t given one. The assistant manger took the biscuits and with her attitude as she was slinging the biscuits in the trash can said to me “Imma about to loose my job. I told her cooking like that and with the attitude she had she needed to loose her job. We finally got our money back and I will never go back to this...
