New Century China Buffet — Restaurant in Yadkinville

Hello. My family and I ate here tonight, by far the worst place we've ever eaten, cold food old shrimp, I would not eat no seafood out of this joint, not much of a selection a food especially for the price. We spent about $50 not including the $7 tip. As we were finishing up dinner, we realized the place was crawling with roaches. One climbed right on my husband's foot he lightly killed it and placed it upon the check. He then carried the check to the lady working at the counter and she asked what is this? I'm pretty sure she knew exactly what it was because we told her we found that in our seat and she said oh by the window and we said yes she then proceeded to laughed and said oh I'm going to have to call the bug place, (the elderly lady behind us that was also paying stated that there were roaches climbing on the wall where her and her elderly mother were eating,,,) she also stated that all the buildings in that strip mall were full of roaches, and they haven't been able to get rid of them... I thought North Carolina was super strict on things like this, the health department for North Carolina really should look into this place,,, if my family and I pass away tonight , this is our story and what happened to us... I probably should not have paid my bill, but I figured that was the last little bit of money they would get before this place gets shut down,,, what's going to happen is somebody's going to get super super sick with salmonella or something worse from this...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the new Chinese buffet in Yadkinville, NC, and it was a delightful experience. Although the restaurant is small, it offers a wide array of dishes that cater to all your Chinese food cravings. Every item looks incredibly fresh, and the fruit and salad bar is stocked with enough variety to satisfy any palate.

The ambiance is clean and welcoming, with spotless restrooms that reflect the overall attention to detail in maintaining high standards. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure that every visit is enjoyable.

This buffet is truly a hidden gem in Yadkinville. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by. I look forward to my next visit and will undoubtedly return for another...

Nice and clean restaurant. Staff is friendly and visits the table often (to refill drinks, check if everything is ok, etc). The only issue was the temperature of the food from the buffet. And am quite sure that timing is everything in this situation. Arrived not long after opening on Sunday (opens at 11am arrived about 1215). There was only one other table occupied. First round of food was only slightly warm. Attribute this to 2 things: the water in the buffet table had not had adequate time to thoroughly heat and the first round of food had probably been there for an hour or so. The second round of food was much warmer and with each trip back food continue to get/stay hot. Will return, but not soon after opening and would probably be best to visit during peak...
