Very clean and welcoming environment. Great food! Looking for Sunday lunch and found this place tucked away off south 1st street. Easy to miss if not paying. Across from Hobby Lobby next to building with dragons painted outside. Right next to an Asian restaurant. Parking seemed adequate but may be limited at busy times. Staff greeted us and made us feel at home. Chips and homemade salsa to start. We ordered Elena's Special Posole, street taco combos, and nachos. The kids had chicken strips and fries. Quality of the food and appearance was excellent. Taste was authentic just like mom's cooking. Posole was just like my mom made at home. Taco meat was better quality than other vendors and large portion of meat. Better presentation and prices than many other vendors in business for decades. The only thing that threw me off was they close early and are not open later for dinner after 5pm. Hopefully that changes so we can enjoy dinner time meals. The cook came out and asked how the quality of the food and taste. She reminded me of my mom. We will be back and sending our friends over to you! They have been open for 3 months, so please support this place as I want to continue to enjoy this food for years. We must keep them in business at all cost!...
Read moreI dined in on a slow Sunday. I was helped right away. I got the red enchilada daily special with rice and beans, a single carnitas street taco, and a beer. I tried their regular salsa that came with the chips and it was good but I enjoyed the "spicy salsa" more. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I enjoyed my food and I'll definitely back to explore more...
Read moreI was blown away by the quality of food and the affordable price, had to thank them and told them their carnitas was the best I had. For four street tacos I only paid 8$ and because I felt their food was worth more than that I felt obligated morally to give them a 10$ tip...
