Experience was nothing short of the best. Yesi at the Union Gap location spent a couple hours with us over the course of multiple trips to the store to test, try, learn, and decide. She spent so much time ensuring we were heading in the direction of what we were searching for and listened to all of our comments and concerns. She was able to speak on behalf of the company and proved to lessen all of our worries about bed shopping. When you are spending almost $10,000 for a bed, you want to ensure your money is going to good use. Long story short, our new bed will be delivered soon!!! With that said, I do have one huge complaint. Notice I said the price above for what I was planning to spend. I was so bothered by the fact that in a sale of this amount of money, it’s the little things that go the furthest and can make the difference. Unfortunately, sleep number insists on charging a delivery fee and no next day or couple day delivery. No military discount, no swag, no free delivery to say thanks for spending your money at our store. This is for corporate and not the local store as I know the employee has no say or control. This needs to be changed. At the end when I was looking at the budget, I was forced to pay a fee that I had not figured and it was an extra $200. Chalk it up to being nickled and dimed in the end. As happy as I was about the bed, I still walked out of the store miffed and that is not how sleep number should want their customers to leave.

Read moreThe first evening we walked into the store the staff member was with another customer. Jessica welcomed us to the store and graciously stated to go ahead take a look around and she would be with us in a little while. Perfect! We already had in mind which beds we wanted to try. When the other customers were done, she came right over and started answering our questions. We had actually selected the second best bed in the store (of course. Lol) She found out what we were looking for and what we currently had. She told us that the ILe would be coming in the next week. The ILe is in between the one we liked and the next bed up in the line and that it would be in next week. She also told us that Black Friday sales were coming the next weekend as well. We left her our contact information and we knew we would be back the next week to try the ILe and see what great deals would be available. The next day I received a text that the ILe was being delivered and would be on the showroom floor and that it was part of the Black Friday sale!! We made arrangements to meet with her after we got off work and tried the ILe out. This bed did not disappoint us at all and the price, well let's just say we bought it with the split top and leg elevation that evening. And out delivery is scheduled for the following Friday. Read moreOur sales rep was fantastic. Three stars ONLY because of her (Ysennia)---she rates 5 stars. I have rated three stars because of having to pay $1500 up front. This would be my 5th Sleep Number bed over the past 35 years and never experienced this from any of the four other stores I have purchased from across the country. I have received ZERO communication (except for the emailed receipt the day of purchase) for the past three weeks. No shipping notice, tracking or anything! A company SHOULD NOT charge a customer until the the item is actually shipped or delivered--like Amazon and others. I will cancel my order in one more week if I don't hear anything from Sleep Number. Pandemic (?) be damned! No excuses! Don't take and hold (invest) my money for a month without product or communications....
