I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a food establishment.
First, the employee took his time coming to the register—wearing headphones. I ordered a Big John with no mayo, added provolone cheese, and made it a combo.
When I went to grab a lid for my drink, they only had coffee cup lids for soda and the soda was watery.
While waiting for my sandwich, I saw the employee prepare a sandwich, adding mayo and roast beef—to what turned out to be my order. When my food was ready, I pointed out the mistake, and the employee said he would remake it.
Then, another worker emerged from the back wearing a red shirt, both earbuds in, phone in hand (which seems to be common at this location). Not only did he not wash his hands or put on gloves, but he placed his phone above the food prep area—and it fell into the roast beef.
He tossed out the top layer of roast beef, and at that point, the original employee realized they were now out of roast beef. I had already been waiting 10 minutes, so I told him to just take the meat off the old sandwich and put it on the new one.
As he remade my order, I noticed he forgot the cheese. Before he wrapped it up, I asked about it, and he said, “It doesn’t come with cheese.”
If Jimmy John’s actually enforced a no phones, no earbuds policy while employees are working, maybe they would have actually heard my order correctly in the first place.
Upon arriving home, they never gave me tomatoes.

Read moreEvery time I order a veggie,, they sent a turkey.. happened 2 out of 3 times. Add to that manager is very rude and would not honor redelivery and asks us to come pick up a new one. .Does not even apologize but says we are yelling when we are frustrated this happens. Excuse given is "we are human too" but that does not explain sending meat for a veggie person.. 2 out of 3 times is not human error. I called every time I order a delivery to confirm and was rudely told to not call the store because order will be sent as ordered. This is inspire of calmly calling the store immediately after placing the order clearly telling them the person the sandwich is being delivered to is a physician and that they only have 20 mins for lunch. But yet meat sandwich is delivered all the time when requested a veggie. I think they do it on purpose given the number of times it happened. Finally Manager yelled at me for complaining the same and so had to return it.. WOn't be returning to the store nor any of my delivery orders ever..Very very rude manager that cannot understand the frustration of a customer. Dude does not fit in the food industry if he cannot stand complaints or criticism that too after repeated mistakes. The first time they did it,, I was very very polite and understood that this stuff happens but if you love your turkey sandwich so much go eat it yourself rather than sending it a person that repeatedly requests veggie sandwich. Read moreI have ordered from here so many times, normally they are good. But today I ordered an unwich online from them. I paid for extra meat and I didn't receive half the meat I ordered. This was not the first time this has happened. I let it go in the past, but today I had paid more for more meat. I called over to let them know. They never told me that when they redelivered my food that I would have to give back the other unwich so I gave it away. When the delivery driver arrived he informed me of that and I let him know that it got eaten. He then stepped out and made a call. He said that when I called to let them know that his manager had told me that I would he to give it back which was not true. I let him know that if I would have known that I would have not given it away. He then became very rude, rised his voice, and started arguing with me about it. He then stated that he had wrapped the original unwich, so I let him know that if he wrapped the original one he should have known that half the items were missing. He never apologized for his behavior. The gals that work there tho are very nice. Next time they should send one of them instead...
