I gave this place a shot. Near no coffee joint can make a decent latte properly so I settle for Americanos and brewed coffee. How can you mess that up? Guess even that is possible. So I travel a lot for work and happen to need quick coffee on the go for about a 1.5 weeks. Even my dog loves it here and looks forward to her pup cup. Though when in 6 days I get 4 cups of luke warm coffee. Clearly there are issues. I once warned them of this issue about 2 weeks before this busy week. I use to work as a Barista and know that the brewers are tested for temperature, rotated every 30 minutes or sooner, and if requested they will stir the coffee syrups and such. Only out of 15 cups of coffee 4 times they actually stirred it. This last one I got was so gross not only was the coffee a luke warm but the syrup was just sitting in the bottom.
Now I have tried to call this place through out the visits. Some reason google uses the Safeway store number. So I contacted the Union Gap store near Super Cuts and told them what has been happening. They supposedly told the store my name and issue of this. I went under the dark 4 times after this and only 1 out of the 4 cups of coffee were hot. Not only is Starbucks from CA, OR, WA, WI, CO, IL unable to make a proper latte and seldomly a frapacino. Most locations in theses areas apparently also struggle with hot coffee.
I am not asking for burn you hand hot coffee. At least 165-180 degrees is normal temperature. I seem to be getting 140 degree coffee for some reason here. Union Gap store seems to be very reliable and even stirs the drink. Why cant this place? Eventually I plan to come in to get the real phone number and submit it to Google plus maybe get my 4 cups the manager at Union Gap said I should get back.
I am disheartened the quality of Starbucks from 2010 has been lost and lack of Barista skills. It seems they are seldom trained proper any more and are just about speed. I can tell you this, you can properly foam milk in 2 seconds to break down the natural sugars in milk. It takes at least 6-8 seconds. Walk into a store and you will normally hear psss (1-2 seconds) them the steam wand submerged. You hear a store doing this simply leave. At that point not only is the mission of Starbucks failed, but your hoping the syrup might make it taste ok. Starbucks is supposed to be an experience and flavorful true coffee and latte. Not...
Read moreRecently visited Starbucks, especially since it’s one of my most favorite places to get coffee and I was pretty happy with the service. My drink was made right and I had a great experience with a barista there, AENIAH is her name- she listened, repeating my order too in order to make sure she did her job right and was pleasant. It’s always great when the service matches the products and atmosphere, I give kudos to management for training a good employee like this young lady and I give kudos to her as well, she had a couple of what’s in my opinion difficult customers when I was there but I feel she handled it professionally and with focus. I look forward to returning in the future. The team is definitely trying their best and I am...
Read moreWent in and ordered a Venti and a grande drink. The cashier gave me two grande’s one was supposed to be cold and it was hot. I told her that, she remade my drink but gave me the wrong size. I told her I ordered a Venti and she told me that I ordered / paid for a grande And I told her I would pay for another drink and she made it seem like it was such a burden for her to give me a refund, and she will just remake the drink when I got home, I took a sip of the drink. The drink had no flavor and had WHOLE pieces of coffee beans in it. I wasn’t even greeted when I was at the window. The girls were too busy talking about crushes to even notice I was there I guess. I would’ve been fine, just buying another drink, Never once was a...
