Food is good. Customer service is horrible. I placed an order over the phone for a cheeseburger & beer battered spuds. Even though I was thorough in my details for the toppings on my burger, I still had to repeat myself several times because the person on the phone didn't speak English well. That's not bad customer service, that is just a language barrier, but regardless, quality communication is something that is expected to be provided in any business setting. The poor customer service started when arrived to pick up my order. I went through the drive through. When the speaker crackled I tried to say I was there to pick up my order I had already called in, and I was trying to give her my name. I had gotten 2-3 words out when she spoke over me and interrupted me, to tell me I would need to wait to place my order.. then she put me on an indefinite silenced hold. I said hello, hello, hello, several times.. no answer just silence. Then I finally said if anyone is there, if anyone can hear me!... I'm not here to place an order,! I'm here to pick up my order I have already placed by phone! At that time she answered.. said something about the their microphone not working and then I was able to communicate with her about this. She still interrupted me once when I wasn't finished talking to tell me to pull forward when I was still trying to add a drink to my order! And if the microphones weren't working why could she hear and speak to me perfectly when I finally got her attention? Doesn't make sense! What does make sense is she was too busy to be bothered to listen to me. Really irritating. To top it off, when I had placed the order the employee with a language barrier had asked me if I wanted a drink.. I said I would order it when I got there because I knew it would be at least 15 minutes before I could get there (actually ended up being 26 minutes really) and I didn't want a melted, watered down pop. When I get to the window they hand me two pops, because when I got there I had ordered a large pop as I had told the lady on the phone I planned to add one on once I arrived, not when placing the order over the phone. When I got to the window they hand me two pops. I said I didn't order two pops, I ordered one large pop. Oh the person who took my order thought it was a meal they said. I said no I told her I would order it when I got here, and not to add it on, as she did anyways not listening to me. Good thing I had ordered large instead of medium or I would have been handed a nasty, watered down Pepsi! Yuck! They had to refund me for this extra pop because they charged me for two before I figured out what had happened! I don't understand why people can't just take the time to listen to their customers! Would have definitely made this order a lot smoother. I perceive this restaurant as not providing good customer service, definitely no listening skills, bad communication, ignorant of the customer service that should be provided. I called in an order at 8:23 and the person that took my order said it would be done in 7 minutes on the phone i arrived 10 minutes later to pick up my food i paid and watched as persons in the drive thru who arrived after me got their orders i sat there easily 20 minutes waiting for my order plus the 5-10 minutes it took me to get there after i called it in so it was 25-30 minutes in total mind you the place was pretty much empty except for a couple that was done eating. They saw me sit there for 20 minutes waiting for my food and not 1 employee bothered to ask or check why i havent got my food yet. I called in an order for two people and it came to almost $28. No drinks. I placed the order easy enough at 10:30. I told them specifically I'd be there at 11:05. That's when I arrived and went in, because there was several cars in the drive through. I was told that my food was "almost ready"....
20 minutes later, and nearly an hour after I placed my order, and 5 minutes before I had to be back to work, not to mention eat, I finally received my food. The employee was suitably indifferent. Hmm.
All of the cars in the drive through had cycled through before, apparently, my food was even made. Despite calling it in over 30 minutes ahead of time. I would have waited less had I not wasted my time to call and just went through the drive through.
There was exactly 8 other people inside, already eating, when I got there.
This, unfortunately, is not the first time we've had to wait a long time for food.
We're patient and understand that things take time. That's why I called in the order. But calling it in, driving through or ordering at the counter makes no difference. Be prepared to wait...
