Food and atmosphere were phenomenal at at affordable pricing when .
For me and spouse dinner date we were greeted by two of the staff a very welcoming hello. Especially since it was our first time . There was plenty of seating , we were amongst 3 other sets of diners .
We enjoyed the aesthetic of the place and the skyline raftor is mesmerizing. We were ready after 5 minutes of sitting down . Waited several minutes then a staff bus a table then got the folks that enter after us there order in . We waited little bit longer and got eye contact with two staff . We didn't inquiry since we didn't want to interrupt since they seemed busy .
After 15-20 minutes or so we were contemplating of leaving since 2 more sets of groups came in. Then finally the gentleman came to our table to get our order . We were famished so we tried to rush through the ordering process then he said to us "you guys need more time?" so we said everything we wanted including the appetizer and dessert and entrees.
After I notice the two sets of new folks walked in after us ,I timed the the time it took for waiter to get to the other two groups roughly 7-8 mins after their were seated. Was curious if they were gonna waited before us .
Everything after that was great got the appetizer and sake.
We enjoyed each other company talking about plans for the future enjoying the rest of the atmosphere like the neko cat robot server going up and down the walkway.
I had the Spider man meal a decently spicy mix of avocado with spicy tuna and soft shell crab . A great balance of all flavors especially when you dip in the soy sauce .
The chicken kiraage magnificent soft texture fried chicken .
Our expectation were that the serving size was gonna be lacking and won't fill us up . Boy we were wrong the amount of food filled us to the tipping point. We were at a point to ask for a box to go . Luckily we were able to...
Read moreI was first greeted by a pleasant opening with access to outside seating. The atmosphere was akin to something out of tv or manga, in fact they even have one of the robot food couriers and sang Happy Birthday to some seated guests. I had never seen one in person so that was some delightful icing.
I used a giftcard which didnt work at first but the kind hostess took care of all the issues and all I did was sit with some fresh ice water while I waited for my food.
I dined on beef yakisoba, takoyaki, chicken fried rice, and crepe cake! I didnt finish it all in one go mind you. I will say the portions left a little to be desired, but the flavors were great. I didnt ask for yum yum sauce (aka sexy sauce) but smiled at this inclusion.
The takoyaki was not as bad as I feared never having had it before, still I can say there were good flavors. This is not a knock on the presentation or quality, just in my tolerance for octopus. The chicken fried rice was elevated by sauce, and akin to any good fried rice out there. The beef yakisoba was a delicious meal, with tender strips of beef and was something I recommend anyone try! The beef was not raw in any capacity as the menu warned was possible.
The true gem of the meal was the light and delicious crepe cake! This was a pleasant experience and I only wish there was more to enjoy (since my small slice was $9). With whipped cream and chocolate this memorable morsel is something I will surely return for more of.
I felt as if I was in a webtoon while sitting here. Thank you for reading my review, and I hope you consider this place next time you're in the...
Read moreHmmm I wouldn't even describe this as normal Japanese or Chinese food etc. Small portions and it isn't worth the expense they charge. Staff are mainly Young teenager/adults whom some still need to learn how to properly work and to better serve guess etc. It was so bad I believe the robot they had going around carrying things etc would've done a better job. Anyhow the food was not your regular/ordinary food and it was small portions, the noodles are some kind of wheat noodles, the fried rice was pretty bland, the mini soup they had was nasty along with the mini salad they had with some type of ginger dressing and the fountain sodas were lacked flavor as of they needed to replace it with fresh pop for the machine it came out of. I believe one of the staff I saw there was taking a bit long with my drink and he apparently thought I said just water and he then returned with water he poured from a pitcher and I told him that's not what I wanted I ordered a Sprite and then he shrugs and says "okay be right back with your drink" & when he bought it to me he gave a funny look and said sarcastically "sorry for the wait" & if I'm not mistaken it looked like there was a mini spat on the top side of my Sprite because I had watch it for about a few minutes and it remained like a thick fizz just only on that side part of the drink. I dunno if I saw it that way but it made me feel uncomfortable to a point I couldn't drink it after all of that and the way he looked and said what he said in a sarcastic way etc but my overall experience was not good & I would never come back there again it's...
