Food is good when they actually serve it.
The main reason I came here today was to get food. I arrived just after 2:15pm and was told that they turn their ovens off after 2pm, with a whole hour before closing. There was only one other customer in the whole building. I was told that “we don’t want to go too far out of our way an hour before closing.” I asked if they would go to the effort. The staff member said, “No, I wouldn’t.”
I got a protein puck for my pregnant wife because she needed at least something, and will be leaving hungry myself. Disappointed. This was a chance to make my experience a really good one with just a little effort. I’ll still come here, but less often.
Their Wi-Fi password is ‘love people’ but they seem to love their protocols more.
Coffee is not as good as Catalyst Coffee downtown.
Edit: Following the reply to this review, I will probably not be returning to Indaba.
I was calm and measured with the staff member, asked simple questions and did not raise my voice. They didn’t seem very upset at the time, so any so called ‘breakdown’ over coffee and sandwiches is likely to be exaggerated and seems a little...
Read moreI’ve had the best coffee, delicious food, and five star service every time I’ve been to Indaba. I highly recommend trying their unique, homemade syrups and seasonal drink creations. The atmosphere at every location is warm and welcoming with great WiFi, too! I’m a monthly coffee subscriber as well (their whole bean coffees for home brewing are the BEST) and they randomly send me Indaba stickers or sweet handwritten notes. They donate meals with a portion of the money that is made from monthly subscriptions, and they include a reminder to kindly reuse the box your coffee was sent in (encouraging us to donate necessities to local shelters). During the pandemic I signed up to support their business in particular by using the Joe app, and I’m still using it today to order ahead and pick up my coffee when I arrive! They are always on time and friendly. I am a forever patron! So glad we have amazing coffee places like this in Spokane and I highly recommend enjoying a cup of great coffee at any of...
Read moreI tried Indaba in Tri Cities for the first time a couple years ago and was taken aback by how amazing it was! My favorite coffee hands down! I was so excited when they opened a Yakima location. This morning I got a SF Vanilla Latte with Almond milk. It was good but a tad on the sweet side. Not sure if the almond milk is sweetened. I will ask next time and update review! I also got their breakfast bacon burrito. It was also tasty, and I wish it had a bit more egg to tortilla ratio, and more flavor, but they had a good amount of meat! Today’s experience was fairly average but I look forward to trying their menu more as I remember how great the coffee was the first...
