Finally a quality restaurant in York. Husband & Wife team, he bartends and brews, she cooks. They used to own/run Homefield in Sturbridge, which had a great reputation.

Went two days in a row, once for a appetizers, next day for dinner.

The appetizers were beers, oysers and Tuna Cerviche. Everything was excellent, especially the Tuna Cerviche.

Next day for dinner, our group had the Salisbury Steak, Scallops and Chicken with Tiki cocktails. Again, everything was excellent.

Dont be fooled by the small menu and limited tap list. The fewer menu items the better the qulaity.

Everything was well prepared using quality ingredients . This is not your typical York restaurant, all the food was locally sourced and prepped by the owner.

This place is an absolute gem tucked away in York Village. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, and the staff was very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend and I got the salmon bacon salad and the chicken and gravy and were blown away by both of them. The ingredients are incredible and fresh, meaning that not only does the food taste good, it makes you feel good! They also are extremely accommodating of dietary restrictions and care a lot about the health and safety of their customers! Their homemade ice cream sandwich for dessert was the cherry on top. After a long day of driving up the coast, this is exactly what was in order. The solid 5 star rating is what intrigued us, and they were not wrong! The bartender was brilliant and welcoming. (We sat at the bar). We each got a cup of the green crab gumbo, which was the perfect tasty compliment to the chilly evening building outside. The housemade hot sauces were a perfect addition. I also got the haddock cake appetizer, which was delicious, and filling. 3 cakes and a lovely quinoa-lental side with roasted veggies in it.
