Speedys big burgers — Restaurant in Ypsilanti

This place misunderstood by my best friend (i’ve known her since kindergarten) although i did not doubt you speedy’s. i love you speedy’s. when we got our food (there were many potholes but it was my friends cars so all is well). once we figured out the tricky parking situation (we can’t read) we walked into this fine establishment and were pleasantly greeted by a clean environment. the kitchen was clean and so was the dinning facilities. we had walked up to the counter and was greeted by the woman who answered the phone are took our order (she called my friend sweetheart over the phone and once that happened we knew were in good hands). our order was already ready and we were low-key early. this amazing beautiful woman gave us our food and was so nice to us. the chef looked lowkey chill. vibes were all over the place and they were amazing and beautiful. i love all these lovely people and may god bless them. the food smelled absolutely fire and the milkshakes look like that one old guy on tiktok who owns that 90 year-old ice cream parlor made them. the drive although short was incredibly long and suffocating. finally we arrived in the motherland (my friends apartment). we walked into the place mouths foaming like we have rabies or something. (search up “rabies pride tumblr”side quest). we opened our meals and finally grubbed. food was delicious amazing, tender, loving, beautiful, juicy, and meaty. mmmmmmmmmmmmm we are carnivorous beings. when all is said and done the food was good, vibes from the staff were chill as hell. fries were mid as hell tho. get them well done and they would be a amazing. with peace and love overall 4.5/5 god bless you speedy’s big burgers...

After swiftly navigating through Michigan Avenue, skillfully avoiding every orange cone in sight, I made a sharp right turn and another right into an available free parking spot right in front of Speedy's Big Burgers. As I entered, the warm doorbell chimed and I was greeted with a friendly smile. Since I had placed my order over the phone, my Chicken Shawarma and french fries were already prepared, and I appreciated the efficiency. The aroma of garlic wafted through the bag containing the Shawarma, and as I opened the Styrofoam container, I noticed the steam escaping along with some seasoned fry debris on top of the foam, which tempted me to quickly taste a hot fry regardless of the circumstances.

Hurrying back home to enjoy the meal with my spouse, I took a big bite and was met with a burst of delicious garlic flavor. However, I found the chicken to be rather bland. Eventually, I had to raid the fridge to find some additional sauce to enhance the taste, and unfortunately, I couldn't bring myself to finish the rest. Perhaps next time, I'll opt for a burger instead.

Update: I went back a month later and got 2 cheeseburgers, unfortunately the meat tasted like a char boiled frozen beef patty. It was simply not good which was disappointing, if it was fresh hamburger meat that burger would have been amazing but the taste and texture of the given...

My husband son and I were coming home from Ann arbor and we wanted a milk shake well we were gonna go to Mc Donald's and the milkshake machine was down BIG SURPRISE right lol . My husband googled milkshakes and this little gem of a diner popped up. I had a strawberry milkshake to die for and my favorite was the Ruben egg rolls. They were the bomb my son got a speedy burger that had two all beef Patty's thick and juicy with a fried egg cheese sticks and so much more deliciousness . My hubby had a burger and fries . Oh and let's not forget the brownie sundae my son had . Man was it delicious we are a hour away from home and I'm so full .. I need a nap . Go to this place when ever you...
