Dos Hermanos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Ypsilanti

My wife and I both moved here from AZ and we may not have gone to every Mexican food place in MI but we have been to a heck of a lot looking for a taste of AZ Mexican food and this is the closest we have found if not better. It is a little place but sometimes the best places are and everything we have had there so far has been amazing. My wife and I like to go there for our date lunch cause it so good. We get the Quesabirria tacos and chips and salsa with horchata to drink. My wife loves their horchata and wishes they had never ending refills. Their sauces are all great and the hot sauce definitely has a kick, which I love. I don’t live in Ypsilanti but anytime I get a chance I try to stop by to try something different and I have yet to be disappointed. Checked out their store next door today and I am looking forward to coming back when I need to restock my Mexican food supplies. The food here is absolutely delicious - one of my favorites — but the customer service has been consistently disappointing. I'm writing this mainly for the owner's attention because this issue has been going on for a while. There's an employee named Brini( I asked) who often works in the front line. She is consistently rude and seems irritated when taking orders or when customers make simple requests. It's not just me — l've noticed the same behavior toward other customers as well when I dine in or when waiting in line. On top of that, l've seen her touch her face and use her phone while wearing the same gloves she uses to handle food. That's a serious hygiene concern. It's frustrating because the food is great, but her attitude and lack of professionalism completely ruin the experience in the restaurant. I really hope management addresses this issue, because it's the only reason I hesitate to keep...

Got the BYO omelet specifically so I could get it without green peppers. It came riddled with green peppers. Had to tear apart the omelet in order to pick out all of the pieces mixed into the eggs. Something tasted like olives, which I'm allergic to, so I stopped even trying to eat the mess. Ended up making breakfast anyway, when the entire point of ordering food was so we didn't have to make it at home. This is the second time in quick succession an order has been screwed up.
