Very disappointed in the service at this location. First they forgot to make my croissant and when i reminded her she rolled her eyes. Then they made a drink for my friend and it was very watery. when she asked her politely to remake it she responded in a rude tone saying she would, and when my friend told her she didn’t need to be rude the manager intervened threatening to call the police and saying they weren’t being rude but she didn’t even hear the altercation. This store is owned and ran by Chartwells, the same company that runs all dining and catering options on Eastern Michigan University's campus. Because this is ran by Chartwells, most of the employees are part time student employees. Often these students are not fully trained on how to create the full line of Starbucks drinks and thus the quality suffers. Due to it being on campus, the wait times are often longer due strictly to the demand and long line. This Starbucks is located inside the Student Center and was remodeled/moved from it's upstairs location to it's current location in the basement Summer 2017. Read moreThe general workers at this starbucks deserve recognition. They are very hard working, and considerate. However, that experience was ruined by an interaction with a manager I had at the register. I believe her name was Beth. She was just very rude with me. As a Starbucks partner, I can understand that times get stressful, especially when short staffed. However, I am always conscious to treat the customers with respect, as it is not their fault.
