I recently visited Arby’s and ordered a chicken slider and a jalapeño slider, expecting a quick and satisfying meal based on the menu descriptions and promotional images. The pictured chicken slider promised a full, circular chicken patty, while the jalapeño slider showcased neatly sliced, circular jalapeños. However, the reality fell far short of these expectations, leaving me both disappointed and perplexed by the experience. Upon receiving my order, I found the chicken slider contained a single, hardened chicken strip rather than the full patty I had anticipated. The jalapeño slider was even more surprising—instead of sliced jalapeños, it appeared to contain a mash of jalapeños. It was unclear whether the jalapeños had been mashed on-site or if Arby’s sources them as a pre-made jalapeño mash, but the texture and presentation were far from what was advertised. I also ordered two additional chicken strips on the side, which turned out to be the exact same type of strip used in the chicken slider—same consistency, same cut, and equally overcooked. While I didn’t order the number one meal on the menu, I noticed its price was listed at $17.49, which struck me as quite steep for a fast-food combo. This pricing might explain why the drive-thru was noticeably empty during my visit, a stark contrast to the usual bustle of a fast-food restaurant. Beyond the food itself, the overall preparation felt haphazard. The sliders seemed thrown together with little attention to detail, which was surprising for a chain known for its consistency. The service experience didn’t help either. The two staff members at the window handed over my order with blank, almost soulless expressions, offering no warmth or engagement. It left me wondering about the morale at this location and whether it might be contributing to the lackluster food quality. While I appreciate the challenges fast-food establishments can face, this visit to Arby’s was a letdown in multiple areas—food quality, presentation, and service. The significant gap between the advertised items and what I received, combined with the high prices, makes it hard to justify a return visit. I can’t help but wonder about the longevity of this particular location if these issues persist. For now, I’d caution others to manage their expectations or perhaps explore other...
Read moreFood poisoning alert!!! Ordered in the drive thru yesterday. My husband and I got the same thing, a deluxe fish sandwich. It tasted like it was sitting for a long time i ate almost half of it before I realized how bad it really was. We both got terribly sick from it and we know it's what caused it because it is the only thing we ate differently from our kids (who did not get sick because they ate McDonald's). I was craving fish, I am pregnant. I hope I don't lose the baby over this horrible negligence. Never going to Arby's in Yreka again. The workers treated us strangely like we were an inconvenience. I asked for ketchup and ranch got an eyeroll with 3 ketchup packets stuck together with a yellow substance that appeared to be a ton of dried honey. Paid 30 bucks to suffer tremendously. Unsanitary, dysfunctional restaurant i hope they get a health inspection....
Read moreThe food is alright but you can tell it's not made with love. It's also way overpriced. There doesn't appear to be an app, and they don't employ DoorDash. I think they would do better if they did. Everyone was so excited for it to open. Now there's hardly anyone ever there.
Edit: They now both have an app and utilize Door Dash. Their lobby is always clean and never over crowded. The food is delicious now as well. I guess they needed to get the quirks out. The only issue I've had is that they made some sandwiches wrong. When I called, the manager said come on tomorrow and they would get it corrected. When I came in they didn't know about the call, wanted my receipt and wouldn't make it right. I thought they had it written down for the next day but, no. So, they made me feel like I was doing something wrong when I simply wanted to get...
