Typical of Yreka, should have gone to Medford. I was told they sold bran for $14.00 by a worker. So I drove the 1.5 hour drive there and was about to buy two 50lb bags and the guy says "$60". So I drove all the way there for the bran so I did purchase one because o could not return empty handed. I even mentioned it seemed unusually expensive and that I thought they were less than half that cost but he shrugged and proceeded to sell me one bag for $30 bucks. Of the two bags one was torn and taped together and that is the one he chose to load into my vehicle; an actively disrespectful decision. No place on earth sells bran for that price, especially if it's not even organic, but the guy didn't even double check to make sure. It's a shame that it's become this way where ma and pa stores are as disrespectful as a corporate owned stores but not nearly as good or accommodating as a corporate store. Last time I bought bran I went to Tractor supply down the street who also stays open til a decent hour. I wasn't sure if I'd go back to SVF until my neighbor bought bran from there. He informed me they only charged him $14 or so. Scott Valley Feed has lost a customer for life withe. I will actively stay away from there as a protest.
