Food made with love! Fresh ingredients prepared by caring hands, and the most delicious dishes. The restaurant is super clean, and very comfortable, with lots of natural light, fresh air, and tastefully cute decor, though I always get take-out to picnic in Greenhorn Park. Everything is well packed and organized for me. Recently treated myself to a horchata. So good! Refreshing, delicate flavor, and not too sweet. I first discovered Josefina’s through their mobile food trailer in Mount Shasta, across from Berryvale Grocery. I was skeptical when the man selling there claimed his wife had made the incredibly tasty tamales (!!!), but later I went to the restaurant he mentioned in Yreka, and indeed, this is a family affair. Highest standards, and a labor of love. Can’t recommend them enough. More than just food, you’ll feed your soul!

I hate to leave low ratings. But this spot consistently hits the trifecta of average food, high prices and small portions. Even went back to see how taco Tuesday was after getting a pretty small like half size burrito a couple weeks ago. So anyway that's 6 2 dollar tacos right there. And that salsa cup is like the size of a thimble. Time is more valuable filling that thing then what you guys saved in portions. The bag to go containers, napkin and plastic fork weighed more then the food. I know inflation is bad but we are not stranded on a desert island just yet fellas. Either way 1 other unamed spots in town will take better care of you and the free chips and salsa are more of a meal then 6 tacos here. Sorry

Yummy in my tummy! I ate two Al pastor tacos and two carnitas. They were elevated classic tacos. Elevated in that they had cabbage, guacamole and were well seasoned. The Al pastor meat was surprisingly flavorful; more than most places. The carnitas was crispy fried to my liking. Seems like a family run restaurant with friendly staff. Great decorations and very clean. Menu was basic but well done. If there were homemade tortillas, it would be a 5 star for me. Also, I’d love to see what they would do with a tostada!

Only giving it a 2 bc they are way over priced for what you get! 6 tacos (3 each) side of beans and rice guy said it was big enough for 2 it wasn't that was $7 and 2 teas for a total cost of $42! You're not a 5 star Michelin restaurant make it worth the money! We won't be going there again. The service sucked as well. Forgot to give us our tea had to ask for it beans and rice came out before the food did! Guy asked if we wanted salsa we said yes he never brought it and we were the only ones in the place so guess I'll give them a 1 star now that I...
