These sandwiches aren't that dang good! Yesterday I placed a online order and went in to pick up when I received a notification saying my order was ready. It was fairly busy inside as it was lunch time and the guy working politely told me it would be about 5 more minutes for my order I said no problem and set down on the bench to wait. I observed only 3 employees working at that time and as I said before you could tell they were all very busy so my order took longer than 5 minutes but I didn't mind and patiently waited about 15min then the 1 (east Indian) woman working who was mostly cooking called out my name as she was wrapping my sandwiches so I went to the counter then she grabbed up all my order walked it over and literally threw it on the counter in front of me all while sighing and nodding her head no as if she was highly irritated then picked up my order again and again aggressively threw my entire order into a bag and handed it to me! I was shocked and disappointed as I haven't said one word to this woman and couldn't understand why she was throwing my order around? I grabbed my bag and walked out without saying anything to her even though I should have asked her what her problem was! No matter how busy you are or overwhelmed you shouldn't be working if this is how you treat customers for no reason. Read moreI was on my timed 45 minute lunch break with my crew, and ordered a burger with no onions. I told them it was okay to grill my patty with the onions, just don’t put onions on it when it’s served. I was told okay and that they could do that, but once I got my burger it had onions on it. So I asked if I can have another one made the correct way. I was told yes by the register employee, 20 mins later I go up to ask about my new burger and the cook told me she already made the burger I asked for. I told her I didn't want my burger served with onions, she told me she didn’t understand. So the employee that said it was okay explained it to her, she still didn’t understand or comprehend what was being asked. So I explained to her what I wanted as simple as possible three times, she just kept telling me she didn’t understand. So eventually I just asked for a new burger without onions, she told me she wasn’t going to remake or refund me my 20$ burger that wasn’t made right. Of course during the noon hour, it was pretty packed... lots of people standing around waiting for their orders, staff running around behind the counter, etc. We were not greeted, so we helped ourselves to the self-service kiosk.
I ordered the "I'LL HAVE WHAT THEY'RE HAVING" and, funny enough, my boyfriend ordered the same. Inside of the restaurant, it was uncomfortably smoky from the burger grill (really poor ventilation!) so I waited outside... and the wait was long. I guess neither of us knew the sandwiches were going to come out warm & melty, so that kind of explains the extra time.
The sammies were good (great bread, nice toppings, very light on the protein) but I would've taken a cold version with a shorter wait time. I don't live here, so I likely won't be back, but it was a better-than-fast-food option on...
