Inspector comments 10/23:
Observed the following: Seven (7) live cockroaches behind the Saba refrigeration unit located in the kitchen. One (1) live cockroach on packaging of sleeved cups behind the cash register. Seven (7) dead juvenile cockroaches and eleven (11) dead nymph along the wall adjacent to the freezer. Two dead (2) juvenile cockroaches underneath the freezer. An approximately one (1) inch gap along the top and left side of the delivery door. Large hole in the corner of the wall next to the mop sink. Two (2) juvenile dead cockroaches underneath the mop sink. Two (2) juvenile dead cockroaches underneath the meat grinder located on top of the preparation table behind the cooks line. Two (2) old rodent droppings underneath canned goods adjacent to the kitchen. An accumulation of food debris on the floor along the cooks line. I ordered 3 quesabirriia not only did it not have cheese but it was double thick tortilla with just a little amount of meat and cilantro. It was so bad we didnt even eat them. When I told owner he was rude and kept aruing with me asking why I waited 2 days to call evem after i had informed him multiple times that i had called but they were already closed by the time I got home and sat down to eat.and I worked late the next day so i called when I had time. He then kept asking if I had pictures then proceeded to keep arging with me about why I waited 2 days to call. Absolutely worst experience ever and owner is a horrible human being. After reading other reviews he has been this way with other people as well. I know people can make mistakes but as a business owner you should rectify the error made by your staff. Read moreLove this Family owned Mexican restaurant! With the high turn over of different owners, I’m so glad to see that B&C has stayed successful. Love the food, love that it’s family owned, and they all work there is awesome. The food is bomb 💣!!! I don’t live nearby but I try to get there as often as possible. I’ve also been ordering my Christmas Tamales 🫔 here for 2 years. They are so friendly and make my life easier, by paying and ordering them via phone call. No worries about trying to get there to order in person and come back for pickup. And the Tamales 🫔 are bomb too! My kiddo loves them. The Chile Verde is so good! I can’t say I haven’t liked everything I’ve tried so far. I was driving 20 plus miles to find an authentic Mexican food/bakery type place.
