2 months ago I said "Fast food and friendly people here. The food was fresh and the order was right."
I don't know what happened but this Jack in the Box went way down hill.
Today on our way into their restaurant a little old man was sitting outside the front door, when my girlfriend ask him if he needed any help he answered no that he was okay but he was done with Jack in the Box because someone had given him a gift card but they got his order wrong and when he ask them to fix it they told him no and to get out. She ask if he wanted her to help him get the right order he again said thank you but no and walked away.
We went inside and when I ordered a menu item that is on the register that I get all the time at this and every Jack in the Box, in fact just the day before in Corona's Jack in the Box.
I was told by an employee no without explanation. I ask if it was still on the register and he said yes but I could not have it, I explained I had ordered it last week at this location and yesterday at the Corona location that I was told my the manager in Highland location as long as it is on the register I can order it.
He then turned to the store manager and in spanish ask something and she replied something back jestering as if to sweep us away. The employee said I could have the 3 tacos and a soda deal but for twice the price as it has been sold to me at all the locations or to pick something else.
The whole experience had started out with a little old man and his story of NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and ended up with us leaving without ordering and still NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and feeling treated very rudely with employees and managers speaking another language when both spoke english but felt they had to converse in another language that their customers did not.

Read moreI came to the jack in the box here in Yucaipa tonight a place that I've come to for years. I wanted to purchase some gift cards, I planned to give them as incentives to my coworkers in a training class Im conducting tomorrow. The manager quickly tells me he won't accept my payment..... As they don't accept credit/debit cards on purchases of gift cards because I could be trying to defraud them. After speaking with the manager and district manager it turns out that its not just me they feel is trying to commit fraud its everyone who trys to use a credit/debit card to make a purchase of their gift cards. In fact the store manager even went on to say that their point of sale system wouldn't take my money even if it wanted to, haha. Anyhow this particular franchise cares so much about alienating their customers in an effort to block fraud that they are willing to compromise their customer service. I wonder what else they are compromising... Obviously the customers are not what they are in the business for. I did have a better review on here I wrote months ago but felt it needed...
Read moreI advise people to skip this location. My nieces are in town and never tried Jack, so we took our boys and nieces. Ordered for dine in with Leslie whom was rude to me from the beginning for some reason. When we got our order I asked Leslie is this all, she replied with an attitude AGAIN that was all my food. I start passing everyone’s food out and realize my nieces both are missing their kids meal, they were sitting closest to the register and the only ones in our party without food, Leslie shrugs and said I gave you them in your order, I replied no all the food we got is up on the table the girls have no food, I showed her the receipt and she kept insisting I was lying. Then threw a bag toward us, no apology at all that she can’t count or acknowledge it was her mistake. I asked to speak to her manager and that lady just advised I come in and talk to Nancy tomorrow, didn’t seem sorry or embarrassed her employee is rude and inappropriate. Never again!!!! Their remodel should have included real customer service and their tortillas were stale all...
