Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Yucca Valley

The general manager here, has a very ugly soul... He should NOT be in the position in which role he has taken... it is evident by the experience in which I had with him last night, that he makes his employees feel extremely uncomfortable by his own actions, and the things that come out of his mouth, and being the fact that I'm a GUEST and had to also bear witness to the atrocities, I have reached out to corporate and have a mind to post the engagement on Instagram, where I'm verified!!! It baffles me that people behave in ways that seems to hold no accountability to their actions, but noting that there's only 28,000 plus individuals in this Valley, you'd think this person would have better customer service skills, and ways in which to interact with their customers to bring forth better experiences for all parties involved??? all it takes is one person to make a change that the community deserves, even if that means the business itself shuts down and another one takes its place... it's that easy... example; somebody could take a photo or video, post it online, and just that quickly, that business could lose one dollar, to 400 plus million in lost Revenue... so what makes you think that I'm not...

Considering Carl's Jr.s parking lot is under construction-zone....they didn't let that interfere with fabulous service, the young lady at the window taking my money was all smiles, she had great attitude and was very polite. she didn't get upset when I asked for extra napkins.....I through into circulation 2022 sacawega 2022 Uncirculated $1 dollars and the young lady at the window thought they were cool, she thought it was even cooler that there wa only one set of finger prints on them until she touched them and I told her there are only two sets of prints on them, that mine were number one and hers were the 2nd prints on them...I also told her that the 2022 was imprinted on the outside rim....she looked and then looked a little harder and saw the year. They are very pretty this year. Anyways Carl's Jr. was clean on the inside and on the outside and everyone was so very pleasant....oh yea, the food was fresh and hot and tasted great even though I was starving and on my way to do Midnight Laundry......fun!! I've never been to this Carl's Jr when it wasnt top dog....great job Team Carl's...

After a trip to Joshua Tree NP, I came by here during lunch on a moderately busy Thursday. My order included the Famous Star burger with cheese. And six pieces of Chicken Stars—which were indicated as "served with a small fry portion and drink."

I enjoyed the above average burger but it couldn't prevent this one-star rating.

The restaurant (clerk and manager present) refused to give me that small fry and drink. They insisted I get a combo. Eventually, they charged those included items as separate add-ons.

After moving on from the area, I contacted corporate. Corporate contacted this franchise. This franchise called me and insisted I stop by again in order for them to correct their mistake.

A warning to out-of-towners: you are REALLY screwed if this business cheats you.

I'd moved on, a distance away, when this location reached out. I provided the receipt number and amount to refund. The manager acknowledged and then... nothing. For weeks, I gave them time to see if a refund would come through. To see if this review was needed.
