This was the best out of the way Mexican restaurant I have went to in California on my weeks vacation. We stopped here on her way to Joshua tree national Park. From the time we walked up to the front door we knew this was going to be an amazing experience. The serving staff were very nice and friendly and informative on questions we had about Joshua tree. Their menu is really large and plenty to choose from which sometimes scares me this was the best out of the way Mexican restaurant I have went to in California on my weeks vacation. The serving staff were very nice and friendly and informative on the questions we had about Joshua tree. Their menu is really large and plenty to choose from which sometimes scares me but in this instance I was pleasantly surprised. The portions were overwhelmingly good and the food was just simply amazing everything you would expect from a small little Mexican restaurant. If I’m ever back this way again I will definitely come back for another visit.

This was the worst restaurant experience I have had in decades. We ended up at table with beautiful ambiance (see photos). It took someone 15 minutes to come to our table to take a drink order, another 10 minutes to get our drinks and some chips and salsa. We ordered guacamole at that time which took another 10 minutes and finally got our meals about 20 minutes later. The guacamole didn’t have any flavor to it. The time it took for everything wasn’t even the worst of it. It’s Covid time and the restrooms didn’t have soap in the dispenser and there was no sanitizer in their hand sanitizer machine. Our waiter had his mask below his nose the whole time. People walked past our table to go to the patio and many did not have masks on. Once we received our food, the waiter never came back to check on us. Had he come back we would’ve sent my husbands meal back, it was barely warm. They say they have the best margaritas in town, it must be because no one else in town serves margaritas. The mix was gross, way too sweet.

Fantastic Real Deal Mexican food! Carnitas Tacos, Freshly made salsa, Mex Beans n Rice. Still front patio dinning of your take out order because of blasted Virus! But to make it BETTER I ordered a Mexican bottle of CORONA Beer with a Lime wedge in the top. A few of these and the meal is complete. Five STARS 18 months LATER 1 Chile Verde Wet Burrito, Beans, Rice and a Mexican REAL COKE , no CORN Syrup. Just old fashion, Real Deal COKE. You will NEVER forget a meal like this. Chimps n Salsa that is wow 👌. Two weeks later@ 3 P.M. Taco MONDAY. 1hand made beef taco, chips, side of REAL DEAL BEANS plus glass of COKE a Cola. Six Bucks... big restaurant...Full Parking Lot! The plate is empty, consumed at arrival. Testimony = Empty Plate🤠🥳

Food was good, beans not canned like some other review, issues waitress never checked on us, I had ice tea and needed a refill hall way thru meal, I ordered enchiladas but added two eggs on top, she brought the plate and no eggs, I said they forgot my eggs? She said no it’s coming, she brought it on a separate plate, not really an issue but because she didn’t know how to charge for the two eggs she charged me “special plate” $13.95 for two eggs? I was upset and when I brought it to the managers attention he didn’t apologize and charged me $4.95 Didn’t take many pictures of the food but had this one, wet burrito was good according to my grandma Oh the salsa for the chips was not good at all, canned would be better for the salsa
