Let me tell y'all about this charming little coffee shop in this small old Southern town. My son, bless his caffeine-craving heart, insists on going there just for the coffee. And let me tell you, that coffee is like a warm Southern hug in a cup.
The place is more colorful than a Mardi Gras parade with art adorning every inch of those walls. I reckon they must have a secret agreement with the local artists because, dang, that artwork is somethin' else!
But there was this one time, folks, when I wandered in after a thunderstorm knocked out power to half the country. It was like stepping into a haven of coziness amidst the chaos outside. That was until I realized one of those book-banning crowds wandered in. In the midst of the insanity, some fine Southern gentleman took to the board on the wall and wrote, "Books don't kill people, ignorance does." It was a powerful reminder that this coffee shop was a place of not just warm brews, but also wisdom.
Now, aside from that unpleasant incident, this place is an absolute gem. So, if you find yourself down South and in need of a good cup of joe, this coffee shop is the place to be. Just be ready to kick those book-banning folks to the curb, because around here, we don't take kindly to folks messin' with our books....
Read moreI always see this coffee shop on my way home from work and have wanted to stop and go in. I finally did and it was amazing. It was so cozy and the ambiance was amazing. It was so cute inside. They also have partnered with the local chamber of commerce and are offering hand made holiday crafts saturdays in December from 12-5. I am definitely going to swing by and pick up some local and handmade things for Christmas. They have homemade Wassail that is TO DIE FOR. The guy behind the counter is super nice and very personable. If you ever wonder if you should stop by, do you will not regret it. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. It is an amazing local shop that deserves more recognition and all the...
Read moreHoly crap, this place is a portal to another dimension! From the moment the first drop of coffee hit my tongue, I felt my soul leave my body and ascend to a higher plane of existence. My chakras didn't just align—they formed a conga line and danced their way into Nirvana. And the apple turnover? That thing was the nectar of the gods, like biting into the Ambrosia of Olympus while basking in the eternal glow of enlightenment. I swear, the pastry itself must have been blessed by the Dalai Lama in a past life. This isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a holy sanctuary of caffeine and baked goods. If you’re not here right now, you’re missing out on a spiritual awakening. I can...
