It’s taken me far too long to write this review as I never write reviews but Della Terra is and has been my favorite restaurant ever since I discovered it a few years ago. I’m from Pittsburgh and it’s about a 45 drive but so beyond worth it. I’ve tried every restaurant in and around the city and Della Terra is still my go-to. We generally go out every other Saturday and I’ve suggested that we just make a standing reservation because when I'm not at Della Terra, I'm disappointed and wish I’d have just gone there. The fried artichokes, caesar and any kind of mushroom pasta are my absolute favorites but nothing has ever been any less than stellar. My husband is a connoisseur of vodka sauce and swears by Della Terra’s. Last but certainly not least, their cannoli are to die for. We generally order at least three orders to go. Two Italians have certainly had our share of cannoli but Della Terra’s are unmatched. I could go on and on for paragraphs but I’ll end here and just suggest that anyone and everyone try this amazing place.

Don't ask me why it took so long to visit Della Terra (in all honesty, probably because it was in the same lot as Burghers and I have a problem (obsession) 🤣). But the relocation to the old bank suits it so well. To put this in perspective, we showed up on Valentine's Day evening, place packed, without a reservation. We live in town and only planned to dine for an hour or so. The hostess was immediately accommodating and said they'd be glad to seat us if we could try to take around 90 minutes, which was completely reasonable. The Valentine's day menu was tasty, we had the eggplant typical menu item and the beef cheeks. Everything was cooked to perfection and our waitress gave great recommendations for cocktails (Lemon Rosemary), appetizers (Rosemary Foccacia and Meatballs) and dessert (Cannoli). Food was fresh, tasty and on time. Can't wait to go back!

A gem of a restaurant...first time diners who came for dinner on friends' recommendation. As the appetizer, we ordered the fried artichokes, which were delicate and tasty. Unable to decide between white or red pizza, we ordered one of each...planning ahead for leftovers... Pizza one was the "Salsiccia" with sausage, peperonata, mozzarella, basil, pecorino romano was flavorful...the basil was extremely fresh and fragrant. Pizza two was the "Sage & Apple" with baked apple, prosciutto, mozzarella, honey, parmesan, fried sage...a combination never experienced before in a pizza...a combination of flavors and textures that did not disappoint! As leftovers, both pizzas were delicious! A special shout out to our server, Melissa, who was attentive, engaging and knowledgeable about the menu. HIGHLY recommend and will return again soon!
