First time here in Sept 2019(takeout). We got a regular cheese and the tomato sauce was delicious. Sweet but not overboard. Also got a margarita pizza. And it was great as well. If you know and like Monticellos in Cranberry, the regular pizza(cheese, pepperoni, etc) are better at Goodfello's, while the tomato basil at Monticellos is slightly better.
The pickup area was nice to use. You didnt have to go into the main part of the restaurant like at other locations. There was also a sitting area if you needed to wait for your food with a large poster with the menu on it.
If you forget to buy beer, a few coolers behind the counter have your normal fair for selection(IC, bud, yuengling, etc.)
Parking was also convenient, there is off street parking right next to the building. This parking leads off onto 68. At high traffic times it might be harder to get back onto the road, but it is more convenient than trying to find a place to turn around.
Overall IMO Goodfello's is better overall. I will definitely being going back...
Read moreNoticed blood on my napkin that was wrapped around my silverware, didnt say anything because i loved this place. Made a special 40 min drive just to have their king kong fries, what a disappointment. First batch had burnt onions all over it and green peppers, which we requested without gp, sent them back. Second batch was obviously smaller with alot less toppings. The taste was different, appears they changed their meat. Ordered the calzone which was a bunch of pizza crust and poorly spread out ingredients rolled in a ball. Wait staff was very good but i didnt spend $40 for that. I wish they would have focused on taking care of their employees and offerinng a quality product like they used to instead of wasting money on a renovation to make the restaurant look like an italian restaurant, which it isnt, the food is more like a sports bar. Just confusing how the owners chose to ruin this gem. In one trip i went from none stop promoting this place to never going back. Ill keep my business with the country kitchen from...
Read moreIMO best pizza shop in town. I order usually once a week. Steak n cheese pizza is good. I usually get plain cheese and am never disappointed. The kong fries are interesting. I like the bacon cheese fries. I also like the double fried or seasoned french fries that they use. They can be extra crispy and delicious. The stuffed hot peppers can be surprisingly hot some times and other times a little on the mild side. (I like the wild card)The other breaded and fried appetizers whether they are cheese or vegetables are also a nice treat. Their salads whether its Pittsburgh style or just a green salad have always had fresh lettuce and a good mix of salad extras like green peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc. If in town and would like some food made locally and not frozen chain food this...
