Short and sweet review. Ordered food. Everyone in my group ate their meal besides myself and two others. Someone asked about our orders bc everyone was done and we hadn’t got our food. This is maybe 45 mins in. Brought someone’s missing food and nothing said to me and my wife about our order. During the servers time delivering someone’s food, one of our group asked if the meals that were missing would be discounted. Told they’d check. Came back w our food sometime later. Told someone (not us) we’d have to pay full price, but gifting us a free perks card. W our food untouched I said that is not acceptable and that I now will only pay half for our meal. They left food on the table and walked away. Some time went by, came back and said that no discount will be given. Still no apology. I disputed again. Some time passed and someone w Amanda, the manager, on the phone demanded I pay full price. I said no and now said i won’t pay anything due to their lack of care. Said I must pay or cops would be called. I paid. However our entire group collectively expressed their disapproval. No one will be back.
Had the server came up, updated us on our order and simply apologized i would’ve dropped it. They were short staffed. Yes, that’s a fact, but the lack of care for misplacing our order, the lack of communication nor willingness to make it right is mind blowing. we only saw our waitress once at the beginning when she brought our drinks once.

Read moreOur group has been going to Bub’s in Zionsville for a couple years now. We’ve had some minor issues in the past but nothing bad enough to write a review nor that would stop us from ever going again. Tonight things changed. Our group was 10 people and we arrived at 7:15 pm. They made some of us order at the door and pay them claim a table after getting our drinks. For the others, they took their order but didn’t make them pay at the door. Bub’s was not busy at all but our service for most was slow. Unfortunately for 3 people, Bub’s lost their orders and we didn’t realize until the rest of us were almost done eating. After much back and forth with the waitress, their food finally came out well after the rest of us were done eating. One of the three asked the manager if their food was being comped due to the huge issue. Instead of just saying she wouldn’t, she actually threatened to call the police. The manager was Amanda and she didn’t even offer a discount for the issue to any of the 3 whose order they lost. Needless to say this has ruined our desire to ever return to Bub’s establishments. Amanda may have been having a bad day but as a food service manager, you NEVER talk like that to a customer and especially when it’s a big group. Yes, we all will be telling our friends and family this story until management contacts us and apologizes and makes things right with the 3 people in our group. I have gone to this location 10+ times in the last few years and it's getting worse each time. today me and a friend tried to have lunch there. from the bad menus that are faded to the point you can't read them. or the fact they nickel and dime you to death "30$+ for a hamburger drink and fries" the waitress was "different" she may not be the best at this job due to social interactions. The waffle fries look like S%^& they tasted like dirty fri grease. and my drink tasted like cleaning chemicals. I asked the waitress and she acted odd at us pointing and open eyed staring at us? then took off not doing anything. she did finely return with a check and asked if we wanted a box so we could go. we were not half way through the meal. then after the meal the "host or manager" asked how was it. I told her it was not good and why. she blames me for not letting them know. I did let them know the waitress just checked out and took off. i did see the manager go to the wrong table and ask if they had issue with there drink thinking it was our table but nothing was done. the manager did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. to fix any issue other than glare at us and s@#$ eating apologies. As you can tell this really pissed me off. it bothered me all day i had to right this review after i was sure it would not turn into pure vitriol.
