Hard Rock Cafe — Restaurant in Montevideo

Clean and colorful, with music videos playing while you eat. Service was attentive and food was good for a theme restaurant.

My husband got the chicken fajitas and enjoyed them. Oldest son had the chicken mack and cheese, and declared it delicious, youngest got cheese pizza and liked it. I had chicken arugula it was good with fruits and nuts, our server Emi, very professionally asked specifically if anyone at the table had any allergies and checked with us often to make sure we were taken care of and enjoying our order.

I would have given five stars, if I had been able to have a conversation with my husband sitting next to me without shouting to be heard over the music. Seriously, I get that it's rock and roll, but a few decibels lower and everyone can still hear the music, but isn't...

The place is nice, pretty elegant and unusual for a city like Montevideo.

You don’t just go there for a drink or to have dinner. You enjoy the experience, as it’s just like visiting a museum (although you’re never sure whether the stuff is real or not).

Food and drinks are nothing exceptional. However, they’re pricey as hell. So if you want to enjoy a nice meal, don’t go there, as you’ll be disappointed. Trust me.

Waiters are friendly and do not hesitate to give recommendations on the menu, which is great. If you’re allergic to something, tell the waiters and they’ll make sure that your meal’s safe.

We visited Hard Rock Cafe Montevideo yesterday and had a good experience overall. The ambience and care provided were top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, despite the slight delays due to the high number of patrons.

We ordered white wine, picada para compartir, and shrimps. The onion rings in the picada para compartir were a bit too oily, but the rest of the items, especially the dips, were quite good. The highlight of our meal was definitely the hot chocolate fudge dessert—it was absolutely delicious.
