Affresco — Restaurant in Tashkent

Worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to! You can't even call this catastrophe Italian. I visited for dinner on a weekday and there were absolutely no customers. I probably should have left but made the mistake of staying as I was hungry. First the lasagna didn't taste anything close to what it should taste like. It was extremely dry and tasteless. Portion was small and it looked very unappetizing. The most disappointing dish though was the golden risotto. The chicken that comes with the risotto was extremely tough and chewy. It was hard to finish even half of the chicken. The risotto was absolutely horrible as it was completely bland and tasteless. I could not taste the sauce at all. I remember visiting this place 4 years ago and the food was decent so it's really disappointing to experience how far they've fallen. I have a feeling they will probably close soon....

Had dinner here on our first night in Tashkent. I was a bit worried that it would be super expensive based on how nice the place looks when you walk in. But four of us paid less than half of what we were paying in Istanbul for dinner, and it was so much better.

The food is great, very good quality Italian food, and the desserts were just wonderful.

Long wait but good food. The food here is expensive by Tashkent standards but the interior is nice and food is delicious. I enjoyed their risotto and alfredo pasta the most. I'm giving 3 stars because despite the restaurant being mostly empty, it took over an hour for the food to come out. The server also reeked of cigarettes which was very unappetizing.
