This newly opened restaurant features modern Chinese cuisine with a few spealised spicy dishes. The main area is a little dark with no window but the high ceiling and the courtyard design give it an interesting ambiance. Food was gernally good and has an authentic taste. But we were hugely disappointed by the most basic yet important item in chinese cooking- plain steam rice. It was very dry and hard. The worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. Poor quality ingredients and cooking. Everything had a weird industrial chemical taste to it including the tea. Yangzhou fried rice had pieces of poor quality sausage meat in it. Dumplings with chives and tofu. Mystery meat in a tasteless sweet and sour sauce.
