The decor is nice and it is a good alternative to another place where I used to take foreign guests for encounter Uzbek hospitality, food and warmth.
The food tasted really good and exceeded expectations in most dishes we had. Good choice of wine including local Uzbek wine with great quality!
The service was the worst I have seen in long time. Our waiter was always chatting with colleagues or disappearing in the kitchen while getting out empty handed and chewing. Many other waiters helped us when we needed anything, but not ours and it was embarrassing in front of the guests.
I hope the service gets improved significantly and get to the level of the prices/expectations.
Booking online was not useful as I left a forged home number to which the restaurant didn’t confirm the reservation. I had to call back to confirm and got as response they couldn’t call or text to the foreign numbers. This can be easily fixed.
I hope to come back and try it again before...
Read moreMy first visit here was terrible - the waitstaff completely ignored me for 1/2 hour! I asked 3 different people to take my order and each of them completely ignored me. You might ask why I stayed: I arrived 5 am that morning and my lodging was close-by and was exhausted and hungry. I am glad I stayed. The waiter that finally paid-attention was terrific as was the food. I had the pleasure of him serving me again another day. I have been back several times and will return at least once more before I leave. Natural and soft lighting with very comfortable seats, muted colors and good local music playing in the background it is an oasis to enjoy a good fresh meal. Everything I ordered was fresh and delicious. Everyone around me seemed to be relaxed and enjoying themselves. I recommend enjoying...
Read moreThis is a great, well decorated restaurant with a wide menu and knowledgeable staff. The food was all delicious and, whilst probably a bit more expensive than average in Tashkent, it was great value compared to other cities. As Londoners, we thought it was very reasonably priced. We had a range of dishes which were all great - especially the plov and the cakes! The manager Sergei came to check on us at the end, and we had a really nice chat. He was very friendly and it was very nice of him to make the effort to confirm our experience had been positive. The only disappointment was that we could come to the restaurant just one time during our trip to Uzbekistan! I'd have happily returned many times to try...
