Magical, jungle oasis in the middle of Da Nang. We stayed here during the Tet holidays and it was one of the most beautiful, memorable experiences. We had a beautiful room (including a kitchen) with a lovely, quiet and totally private balcony facing the pool. It was so serene and beautiful to have all the plants and flowers around. The pool area and sauna are amazing too, not many people used it and it felt like our own private spa area. The whole hotel smells fantastic from all the flowers and lovely peaceful ambient music. If rest and relaxation is what you need then this is definitely the place. The beds were soft, massive and very inviting. The hotel is so clean and beautiful. The staff are so amazing: helpful, kind and friendly, they made the whole experience so wonderful. We stayed during the Tet holidays and watched the fireworks from the rooftop gardens. We were the only ones up there and we got quite a show. It was a once in a lifetime experience. There are great spas and restaurants all around and it's very close to the beach. The road gets quite noisy but thats standard for Vietnam I think. Breakfasts were delicious and the coffee is fantastic. The breakfast is substantial: choice of main plus a whole buffet of delicious food, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. Full service hotel, arranged transfers, taxi, laundry, etc. We loved our experience here and would highly...
Read moreReally wanted to be able to give this place a better review because the rooms and location are really nice but there were a couple of things that made our stay very sub-par.
On the first night we noticed that the water in the shower only ran hot for MAX 1 minute - we thought maybe it was a one off but no. Next day we talked to reception and they explained that there is limited hot water and that they couldn’t improve it at all. So not once over our stay did we actually get a hot shower.
Also, not that this is Ponte’s fault exactly, but every morning at 7am construction noises started blaring into our room. It was genuinely so loud that we could not sleep through it and our heads were pounding. Even on Saturday and SUNDAY the construction was going full speed ahead at 7am. This made it very hard to have a good sleep, but again not really the hotels fault, considering I don’t think it was them doing the construction.
Reception and housekeeping staff were very kind and as helpful as possible given their limited English speaking skills. All staff very very kind and friendly.
Room was lovely, huge comfortable bed and nice little balcony. Cool to have an indoor pool as well, though we never saw anyone swimming in it haha.
Have to give this place 3 stars because despite it being our most expensive hotel in Vietnam (actually very cheap, but not the cheapest) we couldn’t get a...
Read moreA small but cozy and very green hotel a few hundred meters from Da Nang beach.|The room was generous; while it looked a bit spartanic, it didn't lack anything substantial. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable and while the shower is a tad small, bathroom equipment was perfectly fine too. Kitchen utilities could be improved, though; proper mugs and more cutlery and plates would have been useful.||We actually booked a room without a balcony but got upgraded to one with one of the largest balconies the hotel has to offer, which was very nice.||Housekeeping was quick and thorough, with reception calling beforehand whether and when we wanted the room to be cleaned. A small detail, but it's a nice service. We had our laundry done once, at a reasonable price and it was quick too. Reception was always friendly and helpful.||There is a popular café/restaurant directly across the street which might be quite loud in the evening. Closing the balcony door usually helped, so it was not much of a problem. ||The location is great besides that, with tons of cafés, supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacies nearby. The closest ATM is quite far away, though. The street allows for easy ride-hailing. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the beach (large roads need to be crossed, but traffic in Da Nang is not nearly as bad as in some other...
