There’s no AC as the restaurant is open air. There were portable fans, but when I was there, they weren’t on 🥵
Even though it wasn’t perfect, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Second Visit:
Service: As always, very Welcoming and Friendly. The only downside was all dishes were brought out at the same time, which made me feel rushed and some of the food got cold.
4 dip combo: Tzatziki: 5/5 Melitzanosalata, Greek Egg Plant: 5/5 Beetroot Hummus: 5/5 Skordalia, Potato Garlic Dip: 2/5 Price: 125K Notes: As you can see from the photo, the portion size is quite small, but it’s a nice way to try the different dips. If you order the same dips as I did, you better love garlic 😉
Potato Wedges: Rating: 5/5 Price: 35K Notes: Crispy and fluffy inside. Absolutely Delicious!.
Classic Moussaka: Rating: 5/5 Price: 165K Notes: Moist and packed full of flavour! Absolutely Delicious! It was also a good portion size.
Grilled Pork Skewer: Rating: 3/5 Price: 79K Notes: The pork was a bit dry and chewy. Delicious Marinade. Good portion size.
Grilled Beef Skewer: Rating: 5/5 Price: 110K Notes: Exceptional, packed full of flavour, very moist and not chewy. Delicious Marinade. Good portion size.
Grilled Chicken Skewer: Rating: 5/5 Price: 60K Notes: Exceptional, packed full of flavour, very moist and not chewy. Delicious Marinade. Good portion size.

Read moreI was eager to try this restaurant, being a fan of Mediterranean cuisine. However, my experience was disappointing from the moment I walked in. Upon arrival, I stood awkwardly by the entrance with no one to greet or guide me to a table. After a few uncomfortable moments, I had to navigate through a large fan near the kitchen just to get someone's attention—definitely not the best first impression.
The service was, unfortunately, abysmal. I was dining alone, yet at one point, the server mistakenly brought me a large number of drinks intended for the neighboring table. Despite the obvious mismatch—I'm one person, and those were several drinks—the server ignored my attempts to correct her and left the drinks on my table. The other table and I exchanged awkward glances, fully aware of the mix-up, yet nothing was done to resolve it. It was baffling that the server, who took the orders herself, failed to recognize the error.
I had ordered a kumquat tea and reminded the staff twice about it. Despite this, the drink only arrived when I was about to pay for my meal. This was extremely frustrating, especially considering I had inquired multiple times about its status.
Regarding cleanliness, the restaurant was not particularly busy on that Saturday evening, yet nearly all the tables were messy and unclean. I was left with no choice but to seat myself at a dirty table—an experience that felt quite unpleasant.
To add to the mishaps, I ordered a vegetarian pie but was served a chicken pie instead. Moments later, another staff member awkwardly took the chicken pie back, informing me that a mistake had been made. This back-and-forth only added to the growing sense of disorganization.
I also attempted to order gyros with chips, as the menu clearly stated that I could do so for an additional 20k. However, when I placed the order, the staff member flatly refused without any explanation and simply pointed me towards other starters. I was taken aback by this abrupt response. While I understand that language barriers can be challenging, this establishment, which caters heavily to foreign customers, should ensure that their staff can communicate adequately in English.
By the end of my meal, I was exhausted from the series of unfortunate events. The food itself was okay—the pastry was pleasant, but the gyros were underwhelming. As for the drink, it was so delayed that I mentally forgot it even existed.
In conclusion, the service was terrible, the food was mediocre and forgettable, and the overall experience was one I wouldn't want to repeat. I won't...
Read moreI know that both visitors to Da Nang and locals alike love Irini Cafe. I come here and not only feel at home with the warmth and love that the Owner gives to every table, but at the same time I feel like I am on vacation from the hustle and bustle of the city. Irini Cafe is great for an intimate meal or for a large celebration amongst friends, family and co-workers. The atmosphere is exquisite! The restaurant is tucked back in a cool, clean, beautiful garden in a lovely part of the city.
I personally am extremely picky and critical of most Greek/ Mediterranean food I’ve eaten in this city; so, it is rare for me to pay a complement unless it is well deserved. At Irini the food speaks for itself. Irini’s kitchen provides an awesome array of vegetarian and vegan options from falafel and hummus to vegetarian moussaka and crisp fresh salads. You cannot come here without trying the Zucchini & Feta Cheese Fritters Plate; so delicious! For those of you who enjoy the carnivorous side of life, the keftedes and classic moussaka are plated perfection.
And what is food without drink? The fresh fruit juices, smoothies and creative concoctions are exceptional. The bartenders are super talented you can feel confident ordering any classic cocktail here. Or you can let them do their thing and get creative for you. I appreciate a good garnish and their garnish game is on point! Definitely check-out their Happy Hour! In my humble and thirsty opinion, they should be selling their red and white sangria by the craft ;)
I cannot speak more highly of the food, the drinks or the people. I have been beyond impressed and satisfied every time I have had the pleasure of eating here. One thing remains constant, my taste buds are left with the urge and craving for more.
Thank you Irini...
