Its an open air small eatery located in a small alley. Its was open about 2 years ago with a stylish husband and friendly wife.
It has english menu and free wifi.
Banh Khoai ca dia (4.25/5) This is a super local dish, it is grilled rabbit fish with a additional layer of crispy flour skin. The rabbit fish was very fresh, I tried it without the sauce and it does not have a fishy smell. This is how I eat, I cut abit of fish plus the crispy flour skin, add abit of fresh veg and dip it with the fish sauce!!!
Banh Khoai heo (4.25/5) This is also same as the previous, just the main ingredient is boiled pork belly. This is also my another favourite!!
They also have delivery on shopeefood. Just maybe tourist unable to download if you have shopee account in your local country.
Forget about the atmosphere, It is cheap and delicious, not a first date option 😋 however I'll definitely come...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a cozy, family-run spot that captures the essence of local cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit! We arrived around 6:30 pm and were seated right away, surrounded by what felt like a crowd of locals—a great sign!
The menu English, and the owner speaks a bit of it, which made ordering easier. We decided to try a little of everything, but let me tell you, the highlight were the Nam Cakes! These delicate cakes are steamed and wrapped in bamboo, and the aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water. We loved them so much that we couldn’t resist ordering a second round!
The portions are small and perfect for sharing, so I highly recommend sampling as much as possible—you won’t regret it. Plus, the prices are super reasonable, and the place is spotless. Whether you’re a traveler or a local, this spot will give you an unforgettable dining experience....
Read moreCame here late night on my 1 day visit after visiting Ba Na Hills. Great little place to eat authentic Hue Cuisine. The owner is from Hue, Vietnam and has moved to Da Nang to start up this little hole in the wall. He told me he travels back to Hue weekly to pick up fresh fish (Cinh Fish) for his Banh Khoai (Hue Pancake). I personally enjoy the squid/pork/shrimp version as the fish may have bones and harder to eat.
If you want authentic Hue food but don't have the time to visit Hue, you can have some of it here.
Things I liked: Very friendly owner who understands a little bit of english Reasonable prices listed on wall / menu. No Gimmicks. Good beer selection (Huda beer is a hue favorite) Safe and close to the beach Free Wifi (password on the wall) Ask the owner if you can make your own Banh Khoai and he...
