Tâm House Villa Hotel — Hotel in Đà Nẵng

Super nice hotel and highly recommended. Me and my boyfriend have been staying in tam house villa for 8days 7nights. This was an relaxing trip for us and we have booked the pool room on ground floor which allows me to jump straight ahead to the pool from room. They did offer me round trip transfer to and from airport for free and once I’ve land, driver was already holding a signage with my name and ready for pickup. Daily breakfast was included , it was nice and with local cruise as a choice. Tea time was including daily also although I only enjoy for once, fruit and some little biscuits were being served and you could enjoy for a short period of relaxing moment. Staff’s service form tam house was bravo, one day me and my boyfriend was doing nothing and just enjoying a relaxing moment in the pool, a staff from reception have prepared us with some fresh juice and mango to enjoy in the pool side although it’s not the breakfast nor tea time, how amazing it was! The main reason I booked this hotel was due to the high ratings, but upon arriving at the hotel it was disappointing and the location was pretty terrible - in an abandoned alley.

Google Maps couldn’t show the front of this hotel main entrance so I couldn’t see for myself, or else I would have never booked this place. Dark and sketchy at night, and you walk out to trash in the morning. (Attaching photos of the alley so people can see the real front door.)

The air conditioning was also pretty old and therefore loud, and the soundproofing is rather non-existent so you’ll hear kids and people outside pretty early in the morning. The only redeeming quality is that the staff was friendly.

Lastly, can’t believe we paid US$100+ per night for a family room!! I was expecting more from a hotel that costs this much in Vietnam. Tried to make a complaint to Agoda and the accommodation but they claimed the issue was “outside” the hotel, so it’s none of their business.

Upon checked in, no information about curfew was given. I came back to hotel at midnight from city, and I found both the main and rear entrance were locked& closed. I tried to draw attention from anyone inside, but there was no single staff. Luckily I managed to make phone call to the contact number and she answered (with sleeping voice).. then after like 10mins one staff came and opened the door for me. I can understand if they had such a rule for security reason, but then the hotel should have informed the guests in advance. This morning I talked to the reception staff abiut this and she seems so indifferent or simply doesn't understand what went wrong.

Generally this hotel is clean and nice with reasonable price, but u should know that u have to come back by midnight like Cinderella . And the reception won't give u this info. So don't get surprised when u come back late and the door...
