Edit: We came back the next day for more drinks and treats and were planning to spend a long time at the cafe as it looked like a good space for online work. Another person came in and started smoking inside the cafe. I went to ask the staff if they could ask the smoking person to do it outside but they looked hesitant. I confirmed if they had a no smoking policy and the staff said later they would address the issue. As we were with our young child and would not tolerate the smoking, we brought our unfinished drinks outside next to the streets. I could see during that few minutes the staff didn’t do anything about the indoor smoking. So unfortunately that even a high end place such as this allows smoking. Doesn’t matter how good the products are if the environment is polluted. We will not come back and do not recommend. ——————————— Really yummy pastries and drinks. The tiramisu ice blended coffee actually tasted like tiramisu. Croissant was flaky and slight salty, just perfect....
Read moreIf you have to have a sweet treat in Vietnam, you must come to this place. I have this eager to meet and get to know the baker who make these cake/pastries because whoever they are, the really created, with all my heart, absolutely the most delicious pastries I have ever had in my life (and my mom bakes really well, so to surpass a mom's food, just imagine). It feels like it is some random professional baker retiring from baking in michelin restaurants and decides they would open a cafe to sell homemade pastries in Da Lat. It is, really, so good that I consider it a must-go whenever I go back to Da Lat.
Rather than that, the place is purely artistic. Fine arts from well known local painters are showcased in the walls. The house is kept and renovate from an old french house so it looks authentic. Everything is basically nice, artistic, carefully looked after, and very well done.

We did try two pastries as well - they are okay, creative, pretty, and sweet. Since i ordered a sweet drink it was hard to eat the cakes, i should have ordered tea or something haha. My main critique is that when you do this style of pastry, it needs to look consistently pristine: no drops of glaze, uneven coatings, etc., because it's more expensive than other types of pastries. I did not feel that the pastries here achieved that aesthetic perfection.
Nevertheless, a fun...
