I hate leaving bad reviews, almost all of mine are for places I’ve enjoyed. But…. There comes a time for exceptions to help people make good choices. This is my second time to come to Dalat, and I wanted to stay somewhere more walkable to be close to the market and such, and this place had great reviews, so I thought it was a good choice. To start off with, the staff is great, very friendly, and after a couple of attempts, the morning staff was able to help me also book transport to Nha Trang, so very appreciated on that front. Aside from the horrible noise issues, the hotel was quite a good deal For the cost. The rooms were clean, the beds were fine, but hotels don’t really work if you can’t sleep. Major issue: all the rooms around us were booked by a student group, and up until midnight, there was loud shouting in the halls, what sounded like furniture being rearranged and pounding on all doors (including ours) and people ringing the room doorbells (including ours) until midnight, and again at 7am. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Ambien and earplugs were no match for the chaos. The hotel staff said they had tried to intervene, and they had received promises that it would get better, but there are students filling every floor, and I’m not spending another night of my vacation dealing with that again. Luckily in all my time awake last night I found a different hotel to stay in. They also said that since I’d booked through Expedia, they hadn’t been paid yet and wouldn’t be offering me a refund on the last night here even though I was checking out. Night before last was pretty bad, but last night was just insane, I feel like it pretty much ruined half our trip here by itself. Yeah, it was awful. I’ve stayed in some pretty rough places too. This was quite good until that part. Things that were annoying, but not something I’d ever leave a bad review about. Breakfast cooked to order is a bit of a stretch, the guy making the eggs didn’t speak any English and didn’t really try, and just gives you two sunny side up eggs if you talk to him, and the counter in the bathroom was crumbling away, it didn’t hurt my kid so no harm no foul there, and there is a distinct lack of toilet paper in the bathroom. Which given the behavior of the student group may have been intentional 😂. The windows have no screens, and as you can see from the photo open up to a vent from the building next door. I think it was a kitchen vent as sometimes is made nice smells even with the windows closed, but I do wonder about the impact on air quality Yeah, so, pretty good place, pretty awful experience. Stay at your own risk, bring earplugs for sure. The walls here seem like they are made to amplify sounds. Updated to two stars. It wasn’t really 100% on the hotel and they comped our laundry charge without hesitation, so I appreciate that.

The lower floor has no windows or a room that is the wall of the next building when the windows are opened, but they are not notified in advance when making reservations. Be careful. If you make consecutive reservations, you will be 100% unchangeable and will be charged a normal rate. Never stay overnight and choose a different accommodation. Other hotels allow managers to change rooms at the service level for consecutive stays. However, this hotel is not an online price, but a hotel that managers ask for at a normal rate when changing rooms. It's very unkind and requires only extra fees. Never ruin your vacation because of this hotel.

We were lucky to get good off peak rates. The hotel is grand looking in a good location, just slightly away from the night market so will not be affected by noises or crowd at night. There je a shortcut to the markets but could be dark at night. The rooms are spacious with all the usual amenities with very prompt housekeeping. They provide fan in the room and the hot water pressure was good and temperature consistent. Breakfast was average on certain days due to less visitors but generally has a better menu during weekends. Had a very wonderful stay at the hotel.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and found the rooms spacious. The room we stayed in was on the top floor and had a massive patio. We were able to sit there of an afternoon and listen to the sounds of Dalat.||||The hotel was close to shops and restaurants and was in walking distance of the Night Markets. The area where the hotel was situated can get very congested with traffic on the weekends. The breakfast was ample, and the service at breakfast was adequate.||||There was only one negative, and that was the noise from other guests when they checked in at night. Doors were slammed and children ran through the corridors. This was not the fault of the hotel, but something to be aware of. We arranged a transfer to Dalat Airport through reception and this was arranged professionally and efficiently.||||Overall, it was a good stay and the staff were friendly...
