For all you alternate milk people out there, this is one of the few places you can snag a coffee with Oat milk ... Hurray! We came here every day for coffee and it was delicious. Staff are extremely friendly as well and we had no trouble communicating our order in English. On our last day we sat inside for coffee. The barista put so much care into her coffee art and presentation. She was thrilled when we noticed. After we had been here hiding from the rain for a while, the barista brought us out a plate of fresh watermelon as a surprise. What a lovely experience.
Key notable points: Takeaway size is small and no other size options. Advise saying no to sugar. It's syrup and VERY strong. We found the coffee sweet enough on its own. Bakery items are significantly 'expensive' for what they are. We can't comment on the taste as we never purchased any (opting to buy from a bakery further up the road). Seats inside have PowerPoints with USB connections for easy charging while you relax. any time I ordered a flat white, the cup was not filled to the top (and there was still a cm ish of froth). Switched to a latte or cap and it was much better. *shrug.
Overall, loved this place for coffee and would recommend without...
Read moreThe interior is very beautiful, nice music in the background. The croissants were very tasty. Now we come to the bad part. The staff messed up our order twice. We ordered a hot vietnamese milk coffee and a Coconut Milk Coffee but we got a cold vietnamese milk coffee and a Coconut americano. First upon receiving the cold version of the vietnamese coffee I mentioned it to here and she served me a hot vietnamese black coffe instead of the hot vietnamese white coffee, again messed it up. Then she served the Coconut americano which is why I had to complain again. After that we received the right order. It was just a nuisance which could have been avoided if the staff just would have read the text where we pointed our fingers to. I think we just got unlucky. But I got to admit, the staff kept her cool and was friendly...
Read moreLa Lapine, a hidden gem nestled near the city center, has become a familiar and beloved spot for me. Located on a gentle slope, the cafe offers a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to the city's rhythm. My favorite thing about La Lapine is definitely the outdoor seating area. In the morning, soft sunlight streams in, creating a truly relaxing setting to enjoy the first cup of coffee of the day.
Moreover, La lapine has excellent taste in music. The melodious tunes, not too loud, have a unique charm that inspires work. Whenever I need a focused and comfortable space, I often find myself at La lapine. The cafe also serves delicious pastries and rich coffee, further enhancing its appeal. La Lapine is more than just a coffee shop; it's a cozy little corner where I always feel comfortable and...
