I stayed here for only one night but I have to say it was an amazing experience.
The hostel is brand new (maybe a few months old) and the building was designed by the owner (an architect). I stayed in a 10-person dorm which only had one other guest. Each bed is capsule style, with a blackout curtain, reding light and little shelf. There are wooden lockers with a key in the room which was big enough to fit the contents of my 65L backpack but not the backpack itself (my small laptop bag and carryon-backpack would be able to fit though). There was one washroom in the room with two windows letting in lots of natural light and the shower had a sprayer as well as a rain-drop shower head. There was also a little reading nook near the front of the room with large windows, 2 comfy chairs and a little table. Beisde that was a glass door to a little balcony with a glass/see through bottom and a great view of the city.
I stayed on a Saturday night, which at the time of writing, is when the owner and staff have a hostel BBQ. I advised them that I was vegetarian and they did some corn-on-the cob and sweet potatoes on the BBQ as well as made me a large mixed green salad. Also, they offerend me 3 or 4 bottles of Saigon beer on the house! I didn't spend any money or have to go out for dinner! What a treat!
I was able to rent a motorbike for half the day as well to venture out around town. I really only needed it to get to The Crazy House. Everything lse was within walking distance in town.
I was heading out to the Sivananda Resort/Ashram about 10km outside town and instead of having to take a taxi and spend a lot more money, the owner offered to drive me for a small fee! It was much more comfortable and less expensive than having to take a taxi.
I wish I had more time to spend at this hostel and check out the city. That being said, I definitely will be back as Da Lat is such a beautiful, green and clean city and I will be sure to stay at Pi...

Very clean.||4. Think blanket is provided as Da Lat is pretty cold at night.||5. Every bed gets its own light, two power points and a long shelf. ||6. Get a nice view from the balcony. ||7. Room is spacious and bed is comfy. ||8. Nice design. ||||||Bad Points:||1. No separation of shower and toilet. The toilet all turns wet after shower.||2. The rubbish bin in the WC should be cleaned everyday as the toilet paper cannot be thrown into the toilet bowl. ||3. Security : The use of "key" for the elevator is quite stupid for the dorm room. First of all, all of the dorm rooms are not locked and can be easily accessed by the outsiders by using the stairs. So, actually the dorm rooms are not secured at all. But, at the same time, the hostel add a "security system" for the elevator where the key card for the elevator can only access to the ground floor and the floor you lived in. This means you need a "key card" whenever you need to go to your dorm room/go down (but at the same time the dorm rooms are actually not secured) which makes it inconvenience to me . So, I suggest either remove the key card system for the elevator, or add the key card security system directly on the room of the dorm room. ||4. The room is very dark at night. ||5. It will be great if the they get egg option for...
Read morePi Hotel was a lovely surprise, a peaceful spot within walking distance of Da Lat’s lively night market. We arrived without a booking, but the staff were incredibly helpful and offered us a room right away. They also mentioned a city-view room would be available the next day, and true to their word, we were moved and treated to stunning views of Da Lat.
From the moment we stepped into the reception area, the soft music and warm atmosphere instantly made us feel relaxed. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with beautiful wooden furniture, unique carved sculptures, and a small indoor pond with fish that adds a calming touch.
Our room was clean, spacious, and had a modern yet minimal aesthetic with floor-to-ceiling windows. We especially loved the corner windows that brought in lots of natural light. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom included both a rainfall shower and a deep standalone bathtub, perfect after a day exploring.
Breakfast was served downstairs daily with a variety of hot and cold items. There’s both a hotel and a hostel here, we stayed in the hotel side, which is just across from the hostel entrance.
We really enjoyed our stay and would...
