The worst restaurant we have ever visited. We ordered the mushroom sticky rice ball, tacos and baked pasta with cheese. Although the restaurant wasn't busy there were two groups of people who had come after us, finished their meals and were paying their bills before we even received the pasta dish. One of the employees let us know that the baked pasta dish just takes some extra time, which cannot be true, it's literally just pasta with cheese. The food we did receive was average and not worth the expensive price tag.
The pasta that did eventually come was the mushroom truffle pasta, which was not what was ordered. I tried to explain this to a waitress and as I was speaking to her she just turned around and walked away. I then went to the bar to explain and was similarly ignored. I appreciate that the staff did not speak English, however there are still ways we could have communicated with each other. Instead they were just incredibly rude. One of the other customers did try to help by translating what I was saying, but this didn't seem to make a difference as they continued to ignore us. Eventually a waiter did come to me, I tried to explain the issue and all he said was "the kitchen is closed", which was unsurprising considering how long it had taken to receive our food. After that we went back to being ignored. We got so annoyed that we eventually just got up and walked out. We were already somewhat down the road looking for another restaurant before the staff even realised we were gone. Had the prices been reasonable, I honestly would have been fine having the wrong pasta order, but given it would have cost us close to 280k for that dish alone, my expectations were higher.
If we could give this restaurant 0 stars we would, 1 star is far...

All Style, No Substance
This restaurant is the epitome of style over substance. The interior design is undeniably impressive, a feast for the eyes with its intricate details and luxurious furnishings. However, the culinary experience takes a disappointing turn as soon as the initial dazzle fades.
The food is bland and uninspired, portions are meager, and the overall quality doesn't justify the hefty price tag. Our patience was tested during our recent visit, as we waited an interminable 45 minutes for a simple plate of dried and crunchy fried mushrooms.
The hot pot fared no better. The promised culinary adventure turned out to be a meager selection of inexpensive mushrooms, swimming in a broth that lacked depth and character.
To add insult to injury, the staff is nowhere to be found when you need them. The place is big and quiet, with a zen-like atmosphere – great for ambiance, but not so great when you're trying to flag someone down for a glass of water.
Perhaps if you're seeking a glamorous backdrop for your Instagram feed, this restaurant might suffice. But if you're seeking a fulfilling dining experience, look elsewhere. This establishment is all style,...
Read moreTogether with the Lạt Chay Vegan Bistro this was the best all-vegetarian restaurant I visited during my first 3 weeks in Dalat. Both are equally expensive, have their unique style that weaves through venue and menu, great quality AND variety in dishes, which is rare to find.
Only downside at Guru Chay: the service was seriously lacking. Despite us being one of only 2 tables, we had to call explicitly ask for repeatedly for menu (a tablet with beautiful food pictures) and for the waiter to clear our table from the empty plates after we had finished eating for 15+ minutes, as this seemingly never crossed his mind. Beyond that it was great food in a stunning venue and still a 5-star experience, as I am fairly certain that I will experience better service during...
